What are you waiting for?
I write. I write horror mostly, or horror related stuff. I getting the bug to start writting again. But I dont really feel to horror-ish like lately (ill watch it, im just not in the mood to write about it)
Should I try comedy? Or is comedy too hard to write. Like it would be geared towards one type of audience. I know there is different types of comedy where some people dont like one thing, but will laugh at another. Should I try to write comedy, or just force myself to get in the mood for some horror?
I think my dad was high today. I stopped over there, and when I went in he must have been in the bathroom or something, because I didnt see him. I ran downstairs, and on the way back up, I see him, in the front room, without a shirt on, holding on to the back of his recliner looking at the TV SINGING "oooooh e, oooooh ooooh ah, bing bing wallah wallah bing bang" Which is NOT something my dad would normally do. He's always been so... serious. So I couldnt tell if he was actually high, or if it was one of those rare "Im home alone, Im gonna act like a fool since no one is around" moments
But it was good to see him in good spirits...
So I finally got a chance to go see Sam Raimi's Drag me to Hell, and I wasnt disappointed. It was actually pretty good. There were a few flaws, but every movie has them.
If you liked any of the Evil Deads or Army of Darkness, this was kind of similar as far as the scares went. With a lil bit of comedy during the scary parts to lighten it up a bit.
I was just glad to see a loan processor get tortured throughout the whole movie. She was a selfish, heartless bitch (kinda like every loan processor I ever met was) so it was satisfying to see her suffer all through the movie :)
I liked it. It was a goofy, campy, scary movie. Id recommend it to people, but I know people have different tastes in movies.
Im just curious as to why it was/is considered insensitive or disrespectful to the victims to play the twin towers fall over and over on tv, you know, where you just see the building fall, and no one actually died. But perfectly ok to watch this Iranian women die over and over again on tv. Seeing her gasp for air and the life leave her eyes. Why isnt that considered disrespectful or inconsiderate to that woman?

Im on my way to work today, I get on the bus at 55th and already regret not waiting for the next bus. There is some lil bastard (about 5 or 6yrs old) running up and down the bus, screaming at the top of his lungs. Mother not doing anything to control him (of course) Well the bus gets to 59th and it stops and someone gets off, the back doors open and the kid jumps off the bus. He's standing there looking on the bus and the mother just looks at him and says "Get your ass back on this bus" mind you, she doesnt move her fat ass to grab the kid, just sits there and continues to say "Get back on the bus" So the light turns green, the doors shut and the bus driver takes off... Kid still of the bus, by itself.
NOW she decides to get off her ass and starts screaming at the top of her lungs "Stop the bus, stop the bus, stop the fucking bus" so the bus driver stops at the next stop... a block away. She starts screaming at the driver after he stopped "Why the hell didnt you stop the bus, didnt you hear me yelling?" and the driver replied, "Lady, ALL I heard was screaming since YOU got on the bus, I couldnt tell the who was yelling."
So this bitch stays on the bus for another minute yelling at the driver, (instead of running the block to get her kid) She was saying that HE better hope her kid is still there and that nothing happened to him.
Was it REALLY his fault SHE was/is a fuck up of a parent? Im sure she's gonna turn around and try to sue the CTA because of this though...
And was I REALLY wrong for laughing about it?
Last month I was in Jerusalem with my wife. We were there about a half a week when she became ill. Two days after she got sick, she passed away.
The embassy there was a great help to me, they were supportive and gave me a choice as to what my options were with her body. They told me I could either fly it back to the states for $7,000 and be able to bury her at close to home, or for $500 keep her there in the Holy Land. My wife was a devout catholic, and I knew if given the choice, she most likely would have pick to be buried there. But I also knew I would miss out on being able to visit her grave regularly. I asked the embassy to give me a day to think it over.
The next day I returned to the embassy and they asked if I decided on what to do. I said "I did a lil research, and about 2,000 yrs ago a man lived here, died here, was buried here, and 3days later he came back from the dead... I cant risk that with her"
One of the guys that comes into work just had a baby about a week ago, it's his first. Today he was watching the kid and it was in the backseat, in the carseat while he runs in to get a keg from us. He brings the keg back to the car and not thinking just picks it up and throws it in the back seat, and the keg lands in the carseat... right on top of the baby

Today I was helping a friends parents fix up their place before a party they are having tomorrow. Last minute stuff...
We'll we were cleaning up the living room, moving furniture around. We moved the couch and I saw something on their floor I REALLY didnt need to see... Part of their porn collection (not the normal stuff either... the box made it look like it was a borderline snuff film) and some... "toys" Needless to say, Im NOT gonna be looking at them the same way ever again
On the plus side, my mom came home today. I saw her, she looks like she lost some weight. She's walking around a lot slower and is still shakey, but other than that she says shes feeling better

I just want to start off saying sorry to anyone Ive snapped at the past few days. This week has been hectic and not really the best of things have been happening. One good thing is I got a job (Its only two days a week, and its cash, but its better than nothing)
Thursday evening my moms lung collapsed. It was out of the blue and nothing really brought it on. I mean lately she had been breathing heavier and harder, but I just assumed it was because of the goiter growing in her throat, she had been complaining it felt like someone was choking her slowly. I just came back from visiting her, she had two seizures this morning and was sleeping when I got to her. She woke up about a half hour after I got there, she was talking softly and I could barely understand her. I found out they changed her meds on her. I stayed about 2hrs and we talked... I dont know what the effects of some of the new meds are, but she was talking about stuff from my growing up that never happened, I just figured she was out of it with everything thats happened the past few days and its been taking its toll on her.
What sucks the most is I havent had anyone to really talk about this with and vent.. Everyone has been "too busy" or whatever their excuses are. I couldnt even talk to my best friend because she's spending the week with her boyfriend and she's "not allowed" to talk to me when the two of them are together.
So again, Im sorry if Ive snapped on anyone the past week
