I come from a long line of US Army Veterans dating back to the Spanish American War. My own Army association was honorable and short. Prior to the Spanish American War my family served in the Spanish Army, back to the 1560's at least. I also served 4.5 years as an active duty US Marine. After my Honorable Discharge I continued as a non-obligated USMCR reservist for another year.
12/13/2023 Apparently during one of my deployments I earned the Navy Pistol and Rifle Expert Qualifications. The Nave was nice enough to mail them to me today. Better late than never.
