A man that can drive while kissing a beautiful woman, isn't paying enough attention to the kiss...Albert Einstein
There's something about the rain and kissing the right woman that always takes my breath away... About me, bullet points then: I am a hopeful romantic. I am a published poet. Just because I like pink roses doesn't mean I'm gay, just trying to get in touch with my feminine side. I am intelligent ( had to spell check though) Fourth graders are smarter than me, but hey is anyone really smarter than a fifth grader.
Seriously though, I am a quiet man with an easy going attitude but is active and athletic enough to keep up and maybe even give you a run for your money. I am looking for that rare balance men and women find when they work together, combined with a positive attitude that will surround us with a supply of endless smiles, laughs, along with constant growth to overcome the little problems that arise in any relationship. Our personalities should compliment each other in a way that makes every bump in the road a little smoother and every lemon a little sweeter. Remember if someone really cares there is no reason to feel threatened and if they don't there is no need to.
Below are a few of my writing. I write to share although getting a roayalty check for about thirteen dollars does feel kind of cool too.
The Dying Flowers:
Has my loneliest dream finally found me, that one nightmare here at last to haunt me, where there is no one left to turn to, and in the end I die alone, nobody wants me.
Has a loving heart finally turn so cold, that it can no longer spread the burning embers, as I stare off to see my future, I have wandered far too past September.
All around me I see the dying flowers, with no more springs to bring them joy, that I played so happily once in, but all their springs will never be anymore.
The birds sing out of tune today, they share not their love songs with me, just like in the late fall and winter, they're no longer here to be heard or seen.
Autumn leaves have long since fallen, the trees bow shamed and naked at the sky, and like all the greatest love stories ever the end has come, as another one closes its eyes.
And dies.....
A Lonely Moon, A Lonely Dream:
The moon is lonely tonight wishing the stars would come by for a dance. Even a lonely moon knows it and the stars were made for romance. A dream is lonely tonight wishing an angel would drop by for a glance. Even a lonely dream knows without an angel love hasn't a chance. High in the sky tonight the moon sits alone above. Deep a dream sleeps tonight both the moon and dream wait to fall in love....
This Thing Called Love:
Have you ever considered how rare it is, to look into a pair of eyes and say there it is, the always handle with care it is, in a kiss is exactly where it is, this thing called love.....
how very seldom seen it is, all the in between it is, how pristine and sweet sixteen it is, saying exactly what it means it is, this thing called love.....
so when love finlly arrives and in your heart it thrives, it's up to you to make sure it survives, so always protect and keep alive all the tender moments it derives.....
for as sure as whispers make sound, the stars and moon astound, the world spins round and round, hearts beats are meant to pound, rainy days always make it back around.....
You Still Take My Breath Away:
Another day's about to depart with you holding all my heart and yes baby, by the way you still take my breath away.
You are the light shining through my one and only I love you like the bright dawn of the new day you still take my breath away.
Your my first thought at a coffee break why the earth always seems to quake the reason I called just to say you still take my breath away.
You're the reason love is a rush the only one who could make me feel this much like those flowers in the month of May you still take my breath away.
When we are finally home again and I'm in the arms of my best friend under those little stars of the milky way you still take my breath away.
This flower I hold is my gift to you a reminder my love will always be true a simple gift just to say you still take my breath away.
I hold a pink rose for the one who holds my heart. If you are the one then remember out of the billion of reds you are the rarest beauty of all.
