| so, i lost my best friend of almost 20 years 2 yrs ago in a hurricane. this past sunday, her 16 yr old daughter is killed in a auto accident. i tell this guy i'm talking to on here and he's real sympathic. so i go to the wake wednesday, which is the 2 yr anniverary of my friend's death and i see my friend's mom, of course. so she asks me to go visit her this weekend and of course, i say yes. so i talk to this guy when i get home and he does a real good job of keeping my mind pre-occupied for the next couple of days. then he asks me to come see him this weekend and i say yes, not remembering at all that i made a previous commitment. so i tell him today that i can't make it and the guy who i thought was really nice turns on me telling me all kinds of mean stuff. i try explaining why i had to bail on him and he doesn't wanna hear it. so my question is, was i wrong to bail on him or not? |
