The bf and I have been discussing marriage, and we started talking about rings this weekend. I personally would be just as happy with a CZ stone (QVC Diamonique to be exact) and showed him some rings that I absolutely loved. He said that I am too special to have a CZ, that I deserve the real thing. The real diamond rings that I saw are through the roof - from $1200 to over $6000 (I want a 1-2 carat marquise). My argument is that I would rather get the CZ now, and use that money towards a down payment on a house. We can get a nice ring a few years down the road. I am not a materialistic person - and it honestly doesn't matter to me.
What do you think?
Get the CZ now and use the money saved for better things?
Get the real diamond now - everything else can wait. |
