Tonight I did my usual routine with putting my 16 month old son to bed. After I kissed him good night and lifted the side to his crib, as I walked out of his room and closed the door I told him I would see him in the morning. (All the usual mommy stuff)
I went to the sofa and put on the TV. Over the monitor I heard what sounded like someone blowing their nose. Not 30 seconds later I heard "Mommy" so I went back into his room. Found himn sitting up with boogers hanging from his nose. (I know this sounds gross) I was excited to realize he learned to blow his nose and I hopefully wont have to use the sucker thing much more. Even though I wished he used a tissue.
My question is, is it normal to get excited over stuff like that or am I nuts? |
