Why do people who obviously have no comprehension of how evolution works, feel the need to debunk it with the cliched "If man evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys today". I mean i hear this all the time in debates about evolution.
Now I don't know about everywhere else in the world, but the general theories of evolution are taught in schools in Scotland when you are about 12 in the general science class, as its not exactly hard to grasp or comprehend.
My question is this, do other countries not teach evolution to the kids in school, or do that many people not pay any attention whatsoever in school? |
