| The other day, I went downstairs to get some clothes out of the dryer. I stepped on a mangled, bloody mouse, much to my chagrin. Not that it was dead, mind you, but that I stepped on it! However, I wasn't sure which one of my pets got it: the cat or the dog. A couple of days after this incident, my dog comes up from downstairs with a mouse in her mouth. She dropped it on the kitchen floor and proceeded to eat it, while the cat just sat there watching. So I assume the dog got the first mouse also. I was flabbergasted! I never knew dogs caught mice! Sooooo, my mumm, ladies and gents is this: Will she keep on catching the mice, or were these incidents flukes? |
