Whatever you want to say to this, is your choice, I'm writing this because EVERYONE IS FUCKING BLIND TO THE WORLDS PLIGHTS (even those political writers and other philisophical bitches). Not to say I know it all, but I'm writing this as an "Average Joe" who maybe, can get through to people.
RANT TIME! Episode 1: LET'S SAVE THE WORLD!
Our society is crumbling. Racism, genocide, prejudice, hatred, anger, corruption, abuse of power is destroying our world. Yeah, probably most of you will say "Uh-huh, but there isn't a damn thing we can do about it." Sure there is. There is plenty we can all do about it. Take on and face our fears and those who terrorize us AND THAT DOESN'T MEAN VIOLENTLY, IT CAN BE ASSTERTIVENESS. And by terrorize, I DO NOT mean, people who wear turbans, or people who threaten our country (besides a country is just another way of saying "Hey, I'm from this part of the world with this kinda culture" it is NOT an expression of what kind of person you are) I am talking terrorize in the sense of abusing the media (generally speaking) to force opinions on people that will scare them into following their ideals. THAT is terrorism. Adolf Hilter was a terrorist to his own people because, at first, he united his people after World War I by helping the country re-affirm its financial status. Only after the power he had attained got to his head, did he become a psychotic person (this is psycholocially speaking). More or less he was a hero to his people AT FIRST, because in the end HE WAS A GIANT DOUCHE-BAG!
Back to my point however. The only way world can truly be save is by taking the time to understand other cultures. By NOT ASSUMING that, someone wearing a turban, a ski mask, or other forms of stereotypes that make us automatically think "THIS PERSON IS EVIL" or "DOWN WITH THE EVIL ONES!" We have become a society so self absorbed in our material world that, we can not escape it to understand others. To take the time to perhaps, just talk about other cultures and LISTEN without USING OUR KNOWLEDGE OF OUR OWN TEACHING. To understand and NOT ACCOST
someone before even trying to understand their culture and way of life.
ON ANOTHER NOTE, PERHAPS IF WE LEARN NOT TO ASSUME WHAT A PERSON IS LIKE BY WHERE THEY ARE FROM OR WHAT COLOR THEY ARE, WE WOULD BE THE MOST IDIOTIC SPECIES ON THE PLANET. We ARE THE MOST INTELLIGENT SPECIES ON THIS PLANET, BUT WE ONLY USE 1/4 OF OUR BRAIN POWER. IF WE ARE SO INTELLIGENT, WHY IS IT WE ARE SO IGNORANT TO EVERYTHING WE DON'T UNDERSTAND. BECAUSE HUMAN BEINGS HAVE BECOME A BUNCH OF LAZY PUSSIES WHO HAVE LOST SIGHT OF WHAT IT MEANS TO BE HUMAN.
TO BE HUMAN IS TO MAKE MISTAKES! NO ONE CAN AVOID MAKING MISTAKES!
People need to start speaking out about how they feel about things. Stop hiding in the shadows and expecing things to just happen. Cause and Effect. You do something, something else will happen. So do something for yourself and others, try and understand. Don't just judge based on history. History is written by the winners. And those winners are often times corrupt. As an example, when it comes down to it, our country was founded on slavery profits, we butchered native tribes and took the land and claimed a name on it. WOOHOO! But, we padded the truth by creating "Thanksgiving" and "Black History Month." By the way, the Atlantic Slave Trade, created "Racism", prior to the AST, racism did not exist in the world.
Anyway, do something, it may be small, but it will make a difference if you try.
