One of the worse tasks was patrolling the borders between Northern & Southern Ireland. Scene at Salisbury Millwork, hospital somber By Kathy Chaffin Salisbury Post The mood at Rowan Regional Medical Center was somber Friday as family and friends of two fallen firefighters gathered to console each other. Even those who hadn't heard about the five-alarm fire at Salisbury Millwork could sense something was terribly wrong. Television news vans were parked outside the emergency department, and shaken firefighters, police officers and city officials were going in and out. Many of them avoided the front entrance and used a side door to the left of the security office. That was the same door Emergency Medical Service workers used to take 40-year-old Victor Isler into the department a couple of hours into the horrific fire. The other day I fell off the wagon and cut myself several times on my wrist. It has been a few months since I had done it last and can't really pinpoint a reason why I did it. Well, we were supposed to be3 moving to California this weekend but are we??? Nope...we are moving to Burlington, Iowa. Why? Troy has to, or actually chose to start working there on Monday which he'll probably start on Tuesday or Wednesday since we have to find someplace to live until the end of the year. Anyway, he chose to go to this job INSTEAD of taking the kids and I out to California, so now we're stuck here in central U.S.A until the end of the year, since this job goes until then. Its a good thing I love my family. Right now I have a full house again. Recently, my sister Jen had to move in due to having a baby. Her and her husband to be needed the extra money so they can save up and get a place of their own. It's cool since their kid is adorable and fun (see my pics if you'd like). So a few of you know how tough it's been for me at home lately. Well here's an update, my sister is refusing to get treatment for her drug abuse, abusive personality and eating disorder. She's putting major strain on our family and making everyone stress out. This week has been nothing better, she's broke and wants money. I'm not giving it to her though because she's now dead to me. After stealing from me, my parents and my grandmother, she's dead. Never again will I buy her something or give her money. not really sure what im doing but i really need to do something. I have been married for almost 5 years to a great guy and when we got married i had two boys and he had two boys and two girls, well all along the ex has taken him to court for cutting hair and we have had to help the girls because there grandfather (the exs dad) had molested them and cps still keep giving the kids back to her. It is driving me crazy we are running out of options on how to help the kids. Well, since I'm not allowed to create a mumm, (heck if I know why I can't) I will go this route. I'm bummed cause my 15yr old had to go to jail on 8/11 for his behavior. He did hurt his younger brother and sister for no reason--had an "outburst". Long story short, because of that he has to stay there til 9/17. He has been diagnosed with adhd but being a mother, I KNOW there is something more wrong. It is sad to me that he has to end up in the "system" to get the help I now know he'll get. My mom went through the same thing.

Family Emergency - Gone Most Of Friday
My dad is fine. He ended up with a quadruple bypass on his heart. He is doing very well. I won't be on a lot over the weekend as my daughter is home for a visit. I'll also be going back and forth to the hospital the next 4 days or so. I'll try to check in now and then. My dad went in for tests and they kept him. He is there now, overnight. I am going to the hospital to be there when he goes in for his surgery. He will be getting either a triple or quadruple bypass. I will be with my mom and my sister and my cousin and my grandparents at the hospital. My daughter will most likely be there also, if she gets the weekend pass. Anyway, he is getting the surgery around noon to one and it will take a long time. After he is resting afterward my mom will bring me home. (My car is down) so I am not going to be home until about 5:30 or 6:30 PM or so. Anyone wishing to pray for my dad, his name is Steve. They only lose 2 -3 % of the people so he has great odds! He seems to be doing great! He’s being ornery and keeping the nurses on their toes. They found out that he didn’t break/crack anything during the fall. They did, however, suspect that he might have fractured his number one vertebrae. After some scans they found out nothing was wrong other than then typical back problems that elderly have. They also suspected that he had stomach ulcers which they did an Endoscope today and found no ulcers but they did find some stomach irrigation due to pain medications. As for his heart it looks good, now that the tests are done. He’s a strong o’ Goat. I’m so happy to hear this news. --- Talked with him tonight. He sounds great. Even excited, he cracked a joke. We couldn’t talk to him long because he is still in ICU in Flagstaff, AZ. He said he’d more than likely be flown home, on a helicopter, tomorrow or the next day. Not sure if that’s true. Well it is that time of the year again and the family is trying to all get together. Some are coming from far away and some are local. It promises to be at least not boring. My brother and his girlfriend plan to come visit tommorrow and I will be glad to see them. My children are also very excited to be seeing them. Childrens father also coming soon, I hope. At least before christmas to bring them gifts. Maybe we all will take the time to go see my father and mother too before they have to leave again. That would really make the parents happy. Well mom came back from the doctors today and she recieved her cardio clearance for her surgery. They put urgent need for surgery and listed her stage as stage iv breast cancer. I did some research and although the doctors say they caught it early and she will be fine, it is very hard to focus. My mother say she is not worried but I have been crying all morning. Well apparently I managed to offend my family this past week. All because I asked for the car back. My grandmother gave me her car when it was apparent she was no longer going to be able to drive. Technically it is for my daughter when she turns 16 and gets her drivers license however everything is in my name - taxes, tag, title and insurance. My mom has been driving the car since she came back from Florida last June/July because my dad’s vehicle wasn’t working right and he was using her vehicle. I didn’t mind because I didn’t need a second car yet. Well my boyfriend moved in back in Nov and my parents gave him a non-working vehicle they had in Feb - a white van - and he is going to do some house painting for them when it warms up. Well it took about $300 to get the van on the road, tag, title, battery and tires - not bad in my opinion. All my life I havehad nothing but complete and utter heartache mostly caused by my family. Guess it started when I was pretty young, just progressively got worse over the years. My ad died when I was only 10, then thats when the majority of the hell started, My mother began to drink alot, she was a very badf alcoholic, and while she was in stuper I was constantly being taken advantage of by her peers, her so called friends. Being molested by them and by an uncle that I hope one day recievs the complete hell he deserves as well as the others. I ended up pretty much raising my younger brother, and ended up becoming an addict a very bad one at that. I ran away many times, and lived on the streets of Denver for awhile, which was a true wake up call to me. I led a life I would not ever want anyone to have to live. But it happens. I did alot of things I am very asamed of, but have tried to become a better person, only things haven't changed uch my family , mother, and extended family

Family Fun Day At Cedar Point
Family and I all went to Cedar Point today. The day was very cold up til 1. I had 4 shirts..2 which were thick sweatshirts. Anyways.. was kinda crowded in the seat..being layered down...even more so since I am not no small chic. Anyways..we all had fun. There was a ton of kids there..and also mentally retarded. It was great to see them with smiles on there faces..but I did have a problem with some of the stuff they /or there guardians were doing. There was like 6.. that were wheelchaired bound..with there heads all bent down..and not even knowing what was going on..and they were putting /lifting them into a rollercoaster. How much is to much? Am I only one who thinks this is kinda going overboard? Made me wonder.. how do they know that they are gonna even handle the ride that well? I could understand the ones..who were walking..and with it. Anyways.. they were lifting them into the seats..and this one woman..her shirt came up as they were lifting her..and all the people aro

i just recentaly lost someone very close to me , he was my uncle king , lost him due to brain cancer at the age of 56. he is survived by 2 daughters and a loving wife , and 5 grand children , 2 in wich he was never able to meet.my kids and my self looked up to him and my girls adored him. we all loved him very much and he will truly be missed , it is hard for my girls , one took it very hard , she is 9 years old and understands about death and it has never really botherd her untill it hit home. i know with faith and prayers our family will get through this . i thank god for ending his suffering and takeing him home , may he be at peace ....... here we go again..... my aunt was rushed to a hospital in Sioux City yesterday with extreme back pain and pain in the arms.... apparently she had a heart attack. This morning they went up thru the main artery to check out her heart and it turns out that she has severe blockage, and not the kind that can be fixed with the stints that my uncle Denny had put in last year. They say she needs a quad- bypass surgery .... for those of you who remember, my uncle Jim has a 5-bypass just a few years back... and he is now passed on- which was devastating to me. This... is .... well she is my second mom. I'm praying to ask God to hold her and give her strength thru all this.... those open heart surgeries are ....ugh. very painful and very invassive. Not to mention your entire lifestyle has to change after. My aunt, like much of my family, is a smoker. One thing she is going to have to give up now, no matter how much she enjoys it. Tried to take her life yesturday morning by taking over 150 pills. By the time the police got her to the ER, it was too late to pump her stomach because the pills had already been in her system for over a hour. She is currently in ICU, in a coma.... She's been like that for almost 24 hours now... My sister and I have not been on good terms for awhile now, and I just wish I could've told her how much her baby sister loves her... I tried to help her, we all did. But there is only so much you can do for a person who wont admit they have a problem. I will be on and off of here in between work, hospital, and working some more... PLEASE PLEASE pray for her & our family. She has 2 children that need their Mommy to get better soon, and miss her very much. Thanks you guys! I will keep u updated!

ok i have been out of the loop for awhile on here, first off i lost my stepdad 2years ago today, then a week ago i loose my stepmom due to cancer, so now my grandma is in the hospital wont know nothing til monday wehn they do a MRI on her. she is 98 years old.

Despite 3000 miles of being apart i meant this guy that i like alot. But it might all come to a end due to a honest mistake i made. It is tearing me apart because i really like this guy. I want make it work despite the distance. I know it can work if me and him try to make it work. Part of the reason i know it can work if me and him try is i know people that have meet on Fubar and have made it work. The only huge factor for me and him is the distance and my ex. Okay lately i have been dealing with things due to my own stupidity. I am working on fixing it or least trying to anyways. The one person i would think that is on my side i guess is not. Support those who protect our country & in our community they fight for us everyday to keep us safe. we call them out for duty over seas they go some make it home some don't. we call them in the middle of the night when we have a prowler in our yard. they come to us when there is a fire so we don't lose our home. these men and women is our friends co-workers but most of there our FAMLIY.
