My family has planned to take a vacation to Disney World in October sometime. Granted this is after school has already started and yes the kids will miss a week of school. I called and left a message for my sons dad to call me so that I could give him the details since he was already aware of this trip. He called me and said that my son was not allowed to go because a family vacation was not a priority. Since my son has lived with his dad he has changed completly. He is getting straight A's and is no longer disrespectful to people and is not skipping school. I do see his side about my son missing school for a week but I really dont see the harm in it either since this is a family vacation. I have called my mom since she seems to be the only one who can get through to my ex. So my question is..
a) Should I just drive the 4 hours to his house and kick his ass like I want to?
or
b) give my mom the chance to talk to him and make him change his mind?
