You've been friends with this person (opposite sex) for more years than either of you can remember. They come to you and make it clear that they have desired you from day one and plan to pursue a romantic relationship with you. You are no more interested in them, in that way, than the man on the moon. You tell them as much, and they aren't hearing it.
Do you set specific boundaries and stop this pursuit in its tracks, or do you allow them to continue, knowing you dont feel the same way, hoping that maybe you can eventually? |
