| Found out last Thursday that the 17 yr old daughter has been smoking weed and doing something called Whipits (which I had never heard of until now). They found a bong in her truck at school, and suspended her for 3 days. The little cylinders that they use when they are doing Whipits (along with some balloons and crap) were in her truck, but those apparently are not illegal to have. She went back to school today, and her father (my ex) stated that she cannot have her truck and phone back until she can pass a drug test in 30 days. We've tried not to leave her alone for the past few days, but I don't want to smother her either. Apparently one of her friends took her to a store called Hi-Times in Houston to buy the bong and balloon kit. Anyone else gone through this kind of ordeal with their kids? Any suggestions on how to handle it without pushing her away? |
