I'm an open book that can tend to quickly shut after allowing you to read too much. I want to be seen but once I am, I fear what has been thought of me. At times, I'm confident and bouncy...at other times, self depreciating and negative. I can be too nice at times but I've improved on that. Being too nice isn't a safe quality. I want to trust people but my gut always screams at me not to. I have a wild imagination. I find that there is always something in the back of my head making sure I protect my heart and my integrity...I refuse to be abused.

I've gotten good at keeping my mouth shut at the right times. I've gotten better at coming up with a witty retort during a conversation rather than thinking of one two days later. I can be pretty random and that's fine with me.

I don't like boring but I can be content relaxing at home and watching a movie, taking a nap, reading while taking a hot bath or spending time on the internet. I love such authors as Arthur C. Clarke, Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice and SK. I'm also happy at the bar and I really enjoy playing darts and pool. Air hockey also rocks! Bowling is good times as is laser tag. As for sports, I'm all about basketball...the Detroit Pistons are my heart!

I love animals and currently I own a cat and a lizard. My cat can be really annoying at times (attention whore) but she is truly a sweetheart. I'm a dog person at heart but I live in an apartment and I didn't find it appropriate to own a dog without having a nice big yard for it to play in.

Cooking is a lot of fun for me. I watch way too much Food Network. Iron Chef and Chopped rock! I've learned so much from watching that channel. I'll try ANY food once and the only food I don't like is olives. Not a fan. But, once a year I'll eat one to see if my taste buds have changed. I like high end restaurants and I'm big on plating.
