So..I need to know that I am not the only one in this completely f*cked up situation with my local phone company. Can you help me out??? I think as loyal fubar members you can..and that is precisely why I am asking YOU.
Have you ever had bundled service with AT&T? Bundled service is your dish, phone, and Internet all on one bill? We did, until today. We pay our bills as we should with them, but we noticed something about a month ago. We received a bill DIRECTLY FROM DISH NETWORK for $180 and some change. Hmmm I say..what the HELL!
So we call AT&T about this and they ASSURE us that everything is taken care of. Just keep paying your bill as you are and we will take care of the billing issues..Ok...fair enough right...
A week ago we received a past due notice from Dish saying they were going to turn our service off($230 BILL!). Keep in mind..we pay AT&T..and are paid in full with NO BALANCE!! We call AT&T and they act as if they have never f*ckin heard of us calling before. Long story short..they email their "Outside" supposedly unbiased research team to handle the situation. The team comes back and tells us that since we owe Dish ..we can't have satellite through AT&T..WTF...WE ARE PAID IN FULL!!???? Dish says that AT&T started a SEPARATE account with our social security numbers, and other personal info ON THEIR OWN two months ago...
Needless to say..the ignorant assholes turned the dish off today even though WE DON'T OWE A DAMN DIME AND ARE PAID IN FULL FOR IT!!
Have you had this problem???? IF so...what did you do to get through to them to change it? People are telling us to sue the hell out of them..
