The Bitch's blog: "Blah"

I can't catch a break anywhere, lol. Our internet got shut off at home so I'm writing this from the library. Faster internet (YAY) but they only allow you half an hour, and I have other things to check (GRR). So yeah, I'll be gone until further notice. But it won't be another 10 months like last year, lol. Love you all!!!!!

So there was this mumm earlier (gone now so I can't link) about hell and stuff. Someone said you can't go to hell if you don't believe in it. So I said something along the lines of ...by that token, no one can go to Iowa if they don't believe in it? I was just trying to make a point, but Iowa was obviously the wrong example, lol. Got corrected in the mumm by one person, and whined at in my shoutbox by a friend from Iowa. So yeah, I've been thinking about that for a little while now...and I guess I should have used the old concept of "flat earth" to make my point.

Hundreds of years ago, people believed the earth was flat, not round. Didn't matter what they believed, the truth was (and still is) that the earth is round. Hundreds of years ago, people believed the sun revolved around the earth. Also not true. I was just trying to make the point that just because you believe (or disbelieve) something, doesn't make what you think true. Just because I don't believe in hell, doesn't mean I'm not going there if it does exist and I've done things that will send me there.

I just want ONE person to tell me they understand what I'm trying to say, lol.

Sometimes it's just no news, lol. And that's what I got. No news. I called the fire department today and Bob said that it could take up to 2 weeks for the house to quit burning so they can get over there and see if they can find out what started it. I guess that means another 9 days of waiting and wondering. *sigh*

Ok, so some of the St Patty's Day's names are cute, but I don't think I'll be hopping on that bandwagon. My real first name is Irish enough, lol. That said, I'm off to bed...sorry I wasn't here long enough to to chat with anyone. Love you all! (Oh, and no news on the fire yet...just so y'all know.)

So I went out with my friend April last night and we drove by where the house used to be...it was still burning. I took more pix, but it was 11pm so they're dark, and I haven't gotten them off the phone and onto the computer yet. The fire inspector said yesterday that he thinks it was indeed arson, but they can't tell for sure until it quits burning and they can go investigate. I guess it's going to burn for a few days before it's totally out. I'm taking a fu-break. It seems like lately no matter what I say or do here, it's taken the wrong way. I'll probably check in once every day or two or three, but that's about it for awhile.
