misconception

If you look at my recent photos concerning youthful memories, you'll see a number of toy/replica firearms.  Myself, my local friends (boys and girls) played with them regularly, so did the majority of my school mates, yet in my day there were few mass shootings and accept for the University of Texas, found to have been caused by a tumor, no mass school shootings.  This was not because of strict gun laws, you couls buy a rifle through the mail and obtaining handguns wasn't near as difficult.  I'm not going to blame video games or movies, we had war movies, detective and police movies, westerns, all of which had violence.  we lived in neighborhoods where we new everyone for blocks around and we cared about our neighbors, This was before laws we passed that made neighbors afraid to do anything lest they be arrested for someones misconception of what it meant to show care.  Hillary Clinton stole an old African saying "It takes a village to raise a child" and twisted its original meaning to say the it took the village elders and chiefs to decide how a child should be raised, rationalizing her belief that ordinary parents could not know what was best for their own children without the interference of government.  Its original meaning was that the whole village, the neighbors, cousins and relatives would all keep an eye on the village children and keep the out of trouble.  I can hear the progressives out there starting with abusive parents, incest and other wrongs without realizing that if they had not made neighbors afraid to say anything with fear of lawsuits, a lot of pain can be avoided.  I'm not saying the time I grew up was a paradise, but it was at least more rspectful, more calm and more likely to learn.  Think about it, it was my generation that started the Civil rights movement, school ontegration and had more giving to charity per capita than any other country, at least before the government tied everyone possible to their apron strings.

Billboard

While driving back from the VA in Ann Arbor I came across a large billboard which had printed in very large letters “SAVE DEMOCRACY,  VOTE DEMOCRAT”.  I can’t begin to say how hypocritical I found that.  The Democratic Party will allow freedom of religion and the free practice thereof as long as Christians and Jews do not let their beliefs impact on their businesses.  They will allow freedom of the press as long as any portion of the press does not question their core beliefs.  They will allow freedom of assembly, as long at is is not a prayer group or conservatives assembling.  They will allow freedom of speech, as long as the speech does not challenge their own beliefs.  They will allow  redress of grievances, unless you win a case against one of their favored groups, in which case they will set up another case ( as with the Colorado Baker), to show you dare not win against them..   They are under the mistaken belief we live in a democracy, not a representative republic, but they also believe that majority rule (as in a democracy) only applies when they have the majority vote, if they don’t have that they fall back on the judiciary to re interpret law to fit their view of matters.  If you wish to SAVE DEMOCRACY,  DO NOT VOTE DEMOCRAT.

Bomb or not Bomb

I'm trying to decide if I should use a bomb today or wait till the percentage of points goes up.  I do have a 2X bling to go with it.
