most people think that distance
is a physical space between people
i have found that just isnt the truth
i have slept in the same bed with someone
who was 5 thousand miles away
i would lie there, awake
wondering how that happened
when in reality we were
never in the same hemisphere
In time I left and vowed
never to live with someone
who doesn't live with me
instead of a half a world away
