Southern Sweetheart DNO's blog: "Drama"

I have heard a lot about people not wanting drama in their lives lately. If you are not causing any drama but you still have drama in your life it may be the "friends" that you allow in your life. We all know those people who perpetuate drama. Either they have a ton of it or they like to stir the pot and create it for others. I reevaluated a couple of my "friends" and found that they invited drama into their lives and caused it for other people. By choosing to allow them into my life, I also invited in the drama so I made a change. I cut those people out of my life and now it's pretty much drama free. Do I feel like a bad "friend" for doing this? No. I thought that I was overreacting at the time but as time has passed I see that I did the right thing. These people call themselves "friends" but they will throw you under the bus to cover their own asses the first chance they get. A real friend will have your back no matter what. This doesn't mean that they always have to agree with you. It means that they should talk TO you instead of ABOUT you. Just something to think about!!
