On the journey down FU's yellow brick road you gotta love when the wind shifts and the facade of Zen wisdom and kindness is exposed as a smoke screen hiding that the man behind the curtain is not the Wizard at all...just a self-centered, petty, ungrateful Master of deception and selfishness whose friendship consists of wanting your help but being unwilling to provide any in return.
FU is filled with people like this and it usually doesnt take a whole lot to spot them. Some tho are adept at deception and misdirection..but even they can only hide behind those for so long before True Colors are revealed.
My eyes got opened...wide...yesterday when I discovered that someone I truly considered to be a friend was merely a wolf in sheep's clothing...a fake who had deceived me for over a year.
I have never been the most trusting person on here...far from it. My radar typically spots fakes, liars and con artists a mile off. So when one slips past my defenses and thoroughly dupes me into believing that they are truly a friend it makes me question whether I should actually trust anyone on here.
And that makes me kinda sad...but to quote The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again"
