Finally

GE home delivery really needs to hire some people who can speak and read English!  Am I going to have to learn Spanish in order to place orders and tell delivery drivers where to go?  WTF!  I have enough problems signing, a Language that I LOVE!  BLAH!!! So hear is the story.  I see a truck pull up in front and 2 men unloading th washer and dryer.  I decided to take the door off the hinges just to make it easier for the guys to get in...one less obstacle.  I go back to look outside and the truck is there, but the washers and dryers are gone.  All I see is the carpet cleaners getting ready to clean the carpets in an apartment being rented out soon.  I walked down and he asked if I was expecting a washer/dryer delivery.  I told him that I was.  He told me that they were setting them up in the wrong apartment.  Ok, now I am getting REALLY upset with this GE delivery.  I really wished Home Depot delivered themselves because they were so much more helpful at the store.  Anyways, the guy showed me the paperwork and pointed to the 608 Catlyn Ct,  Delmar NY on the paperwork.  I pointed to the "602" on the door.  The guy didn't look too happy about his dumb ass move.  So, they brought the washer and dryer upstairs to me.  Now, the problem is that they only have a 4' dryer cord.  I need a 6' so the dryer can be connected before shoving it into the closet.  So, I called the Home Depot manager and he told me to bring the wrong cord and come get the right one.  So I did that.  While I was there, I also picked up some sliders to make sliding the washer and dryer easier, some 3-way compact fluorescent light bulbs, and a dimmer switch for my dining room light (although the wrong color which I need to return).

While I was at Home Depot, I changed my mind on the BBQ Grill that I want to get.  The reason for the is space.  I don't have the biggest deck in the world and I thing getting an overly big BBQ grill for my smaller deck would be too big.  Instead of getting the one I want...

I guess I was a little too eager to use my grill.  I was washing my work clothes and I am hearing CLUNK-CLUNK noises.  Then it dawned on me that I didn't check my work pants.  Sure enough, About $1.50 in change, a spare battery for my work radio, a pen were in the wash and my back pocket was full of mushy paper.  WTF!  Oh well, I guess I get excited with new toys...LOL.

Tomorrow evening, while I am not working due to the massive derailment in Oneida, I am taking my rules class that I have to get done.  Speaking of derailments, that thing was something.  I know both guys that were on that train.  I actually went through that area about 17 to 18 hours before that happened.  I am just glad that nobody got hurt.  The major thing for me right now is not working.  BLAH!  Oh well.  Anyways, here are some pictures.  Whoever the guy was with the dog was one crazy dumbass for getting that close to those tanks while they were on fire.  I would have been running the other direction...like the 2 guys on the train did...LOL
