Everyone is rated "11" if you have them. A "10" if you don't. In your head you can say 2 or 7 but your fingers must always go to 10 or 11. Try to rate back everyone who rated you. We are here to help each other out. :)
Dark Side
Start rating people what they really are and you most likely will be blocked a lot.
If you view it. rate it
*if you wander onto someones page by accident. Go ahead and at least rate their profile. You don't have to ask for friendship.*
INPUT FROM FERLISHIOUS:
Viewing (even if on accident) without rating makes you look fishy! If you're still a level 8 or so, people may assume you haven't figured out how to rate, but anything 15 or higher just makes it look like you're snooping which no one likes. View me without rating me? Don't be shocked when you're blocked.
If you shout it, rate it
ESPECIALLY if you're asking a favor. "vote on this MuMM" or "rate this contest pic" is going to be better received if it's after a page rate. You scratch their back if you want them to scratch yours.
Shouting without rating gives it away that you're simply hovering online members and pasting the same BS to anyone who's settings allow you to shout them.
PROPER FRIEND REQUEST
Light Side
You must rate them, then you must fan them, then you can send a friend request.
FRIEND REQUESTS: You should include some kind of hello in your request. Plus be sure you read the profile before sending the request. Maybe that person doesn't accept friendship from people without a salute. Or they have been here long enough to be selective.
It's only proper that when you accept a friend request that you go back and fan and rate the person also.
Dark Side
You get rated, fanned, liked...etc... Then you go visit the person's page and they are set to private.
THE LIKE SYSTEM
Light side
To earn extra points people will use the like button. Good for you and them. If you do the like thing go ahead and like them back out of courtesy or at least go rate them.
Dark side
Just because someone hit your like button DOESN'T MEAN THEY LIKE YOU! Get over it.

I have found that doing the admire game is usually done out of boredom or in search of random friends. A nice opportunity to meet people.
Dark Side
This is my evilness slipping through...The way you get matches may not be the way you think. When I have some admirers I sometimes start picking ones that I don't want to match with. Sometimes it hits. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate it...When I do that and don't get a match and there are some left that look interesting I do buy the extra guesses.
Other times I pick the ones I like. It is just a game. A way to meet people...you play it how you want.

It's all good. Great way to make points. Usually make more points then rating pics.
Dark Side
Most people don't want you to polish unless you go through the whole FRIEND REQUEST PROCESS.
THE RATING/RANKING GAME

Who are the top people? Either they have been here a long time, know how to get gifts out of people, or they spend the money themselves to get there.
Light Side
Anyone can rank if you are truly dedicated. It's easier during the week then on weekends. I think you have to rank at least twice in a week for a weekly rank. You will be low though. Now with boomerangs it's hard but not impossible.

Lounge etiquette just like anywhere in the world you need etiquette to be able to survive, you also need them in lounges so you don't accidentally do something that might get you silenced banned or ejected from a lounge..
#1 READ the lounge rules before you type, all lounges are different.
#2 dont push your RELIGIOUS views on others,not everyone is the same religion and in the end we will all find out who is right, so keep it that way,
#3 ABSOLUTLY DO NOT come into a lounge asking if your dj's can come dj for you, its disrespectful and should be done in a sb.. (for those who dont know a sb is a shoutbox)
#4 LOUNGES are ment to be fun, not ment to drag your personal REAL life drama into , keep that in RL not online.. We all wanna talk and get to know you but we dont need to have the first impression that your a attention seeker,
#5 If you don't like the music being played you can always make a request.. most lounges on here have live djs most of the time and song requests are welcomed. So theres really 2 options.. if you don't like the music 1. don't listen.. 2. make a request.
I'm sure there are meny more things that help lounges run smoothly, if you care to add plz do so.

Now me: Basic note about lounges is that when you find a group of people you click with you will know which lounge is for you.
When someone buys a round. You usually type "cheers" in appreciation.
When someone enters say "Hi".
When someone leaves you usually type "HB" HB=Hurry back.
I often wonder what the other people on FU are doing while they are on FU? So I watch my bartab like some kind of FU Analyzer taking statistics....(Ummm...Yes...it does sound like a stalker...RUN! RUN NOW!)
Well, as a Fu Analyzer (now to be shortened to FA for the remainder of this blog), it is my duty to know that some of my friends have gone to work, are at work, have a day off, etc...
The FA sees the sparks happening between two people:
"He/She is wonderful!"
"I never thought I would meet her/him".....
Trick is to realize which ones are true and which ones are playing another for the extra "FU love"..*cough*blings, bling packs, HH*cough*
At the same time the FA watches for those emo stats, standing ready with gift hugs or some other little appropriate gift.
"I can't believe he/she did this!"
"Fuicide." *Fuicide=to delete one's profile because no one here loves them. Only to return a short time later on another profile as themselves, or for the more extreme, as a whole other person!*
FA sees the "Just Saying" group. (includes the Pretty Pleasers, the Look at the _____ Bling-ers, and the Pouty Ones.)
I will leave it at that or this blog will never be finished.
I am guilty of the sparks stats, emo stats,and the every day ones. Who am I really sending my thoughts to when I change my status? Who do I expect to react? I sometimes wonder. I am usually just rating, helping people level, following all the FU rules and randomly talking to people here and there. I can spend time on here and my only contact with others is the rating back and forth. It's like watching your favorite soap operas. When one of those people that I am watching contact me I secretly giggle behind my screen.
I think I am the only weirdo that sits and does this. I guess this blog is a warning....
