I do not know the exact date, but it was in March I am thinking. My grandparents were out eating at their favorite restaurant and on their way home. As they were on their way home, they got into an accident with a Semi-Truck. It seems the Police report stated that they ran a stop sign and clipped the back of a semi-truck. My grandfather was ejected out of the windshield of the car and broke his neck when he hit the pavement and died instantly. My grandmother had somehow tried to get out of the car and got her foot hooked onto something and was dragged along the road. She was in serious condition, but she survived. She was in the hospital for about 3 months, they had to amputate her leg from her knee-cap down. She got out of the hospital and was in a wheelchair and one morning, about a week later, I was getting up for work and my grandmother called. She said she was having trouble breathing and needed to be tooken to the hospital. I told her I would do it and just go into work late, they would completely understand. My grandmother did not want me to miss work and argued with me abit cause of it. I drove her to the hospital. They were starting to get her all prepped and I saw it all. Her last words were, "I Can't breath" and she just shot her head back and her mouth wide open and started trembling extremely fast. They doctor hollered for a CODE BLUE before they told me to leave and wait out in the waiting room. About 15 minutes later, the doctor came to me and said he was sorry, my grandmother passed away. I was the only one there, the only and last one to see her alive. I had to be the one to break it to all of the family. Call them and tell them to come to the hospital. I had to be the bearer of bad news that day.... As time goes on.....my life continues....
