My signature changes almost daily.I want to go to Cuba, but will soon settle on Guatemala when I'm done with schoolI'm into Buddhists for the obvious reasons. I'm currently thinking about my "inner landscape being out of whack with my outer landscape." I've decided that L.A., as a representation of a society's inner landscape, is fairly, shall we say, unstable?I've seen my first gated community inside another gated community. I hope I never live in a gate community.I'm reading a book called 2666 by Robeto Bolano, but it's slow going. I have loved and studied movies for almost my entire life, but my interest is in flux, like a museum exhibit due for a new installation.I like to write.I lack discipline, but keep on keepin' on!I love music, but mostly rock and roll, minor chord, so a little dark. I like music that feel necessary. That's the best way I can describe it. Music that doesn't feel like a happenstance or a choice by the artist, but something they've gotta do, or they'll never live or love again. That's the music I like, which includes, obviously, opera (though I don't know a thing about it).I was saddened by Kurt Cobain's death, so that dates me.I've had a broken heart and it's not true that time heals such things. At least I don't have a tattoo of her name that I'd be forced to rearrange (like Gena Davis rearranging Renny Harlin's name to Denny's!).I admire my mom's work ethic. I couldn't do what she's done.Women are beautiful, men are a little goofy, let's face it!Less is more, that's why we blink.I have too many single socks.I still don't know, do you dress up for an interview at a gas station?I don't understand the expression, "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Why not? Why can't you bake a cake and then eat it? I don't see a problem with that. Where ever you go, there you are. Great Line!I never get sick of the movie "This is Spinal Trap."I love old Star Trek, but yes, they are just a little dated.I wanna have fun, be happy, and not care so much what other people think! I think I want to teach kids when I'm done with school.I want to travel more.I might read a Stephen King novel for the first time in 20 years.I'm thinking about learning how to surf.Flip Flops are the worst shoes you can wear, worse than High Heals or Fuck Me Pumps; and Nike running shoes are designed to cause injuries, rather than prevent them. But I don't believe in conspiracy theories.Obama rules, but the 2-party system sucks and he suck on gay rights.I think men like chili more than women.A woman I trust once told me that a girl should never trust a guy with no plants. I need to get some plants. I don't have any right now.I was a lock-key child, whatever the crap that means.I've gone skydiving, but only once. My friend lost his shoe and I was dressed in a Richard Nixon mask (well, that last part is an embellishment).I was recently amazed, once again, by The National Spelling Bee on ESPN. Those kids are incredible!I love my dog. It's easy. Unconditional. Human's are tough, let's face it.I like people, but they require a great deal of patience.I like my solitude.I've come to believe that Las Vegas is where you go when you die. Not to die, but when you actually die. Just walk around the city and you'll see what I mean. I have to laugh. I just have to! Suicide Sucks, but I can relate. However, when you look at the stats, it's not particularly original in terms of numbers attempted. That's even more discouraging. Thought I'd try this format.Thanx for reading.p.s. No Meanies. If you're a jerk, then enjoy a jerk life, high on that mountain top called attitude not altitude.I have compassion and affection for everyone and everything (at least that's what I'm trying to work on)!!!lolOh, I'll try to accept anyone, but if you're a bigot then this will be tough going. LET'S HAVE FUN HERE. (I travel, but will try to check back)Peace, love, and revolution!

Interests
Reading Outdoor Activites Talking on the phone, well, sort of. It's very push-pull, if you know what I mean. Writing. Not Comic Books. Don't understand why everyone has a tattoo when they used to represent a counter-cultural pov. Now they're just a fad, like Malcolm X hats. Sad. I'll continue this list when I think of something more witty to say. Thank You for your patience!!!!
Music
Here we go, in random order, but what's been in my player lately would be first. Dead Confederate Foo Fighters Tom Waits Neko Case Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds PJ Harvey Lucinda Williams David Byrne (Talking Heads) Nirvana The Beatles Brian Wilson's newest album Gurf Morlix Ray Charles Mudhoney Hole MudCrutch Patti Smith The Rolling Stones Joanna Newsom Bjork Ron Miles That will have to do for now. I have an eclectic taste. actually thinking about going to some Israeli Clubs and checking out their music scene while in L.A. Any suggestions?
Video Games
I need advice on a system to buy, but I'm an old Atari guy, so, along with skateboards, I've seen a lot of changes. But I need to get back into the gaming industry, to an extent, as my editing interests may lead me there job wise. Video Games are bigger, much bigger, than the movie industry, in case anyone would want to know such a trivial fact. But wait, I don't play games, I said that in my profile!
