Hi, I recently had a heart attack, and to be honest it was scarey as hell. At first I did not know that I had one and after a doctors visit that chased me to hospital and a bunch of test later and landing up in ICU, i realised I was very lucky to be alive. As per all the tests the results was that it was a Major heart attack. So I am in ICU, getting very good treatment, feeling a lot better. I was thinking of you know all the what ifs, Then I remember that in fact I had a heart attack about a month prior to the Major one and did not even know it.
Only after talking to other patients that had it, it came to light that in fact females dont get attacks the same as men, theirs are camouflarged by having extreme heartburn. And of course not realising it you just take meds to relieve it and more if it gets worse. So Ladies reading this next time you have and I mean real bad heartburn go see a doctor you might have had a heart attack already and didnt know it.
The symtoms I had was extreme heartburn very high fever and it felt like I was being choked. I started getting very tired after my first heavy heartburn and should have gone to see a doc, but like life carries on we dont do that.
Thought I share my exp with you lot.
