And what he didn't know was, she talked to many. She talked to many and smiled, even laughed sometimes. She would talk and endure question after question. Although she enjoyed the conversations she held, she longed for something else, someone else. Each time her phone would ring, each time she recevied a text message, her heart would sink, again and again. At times the others who were asking for her attention felt like standing in the middle of a crowded room. Noise, oh so much noise. Everyone wanted her name, everyone wanted her time. She gave them as much as she could, hoping that someone would relieve her pain. But nobody was able to give her more than just a few moments of peace. She would have to step back and breath, only to feel the lonliness return again. So, back into the room she would walk, looking for something, looking for him. What he didn't know was, she would run out of the room, away from the crowd, away from the noise. She would shut the door behind her, even lock it. If only, he would be there to hold her.
