Robert's blog: "I needed you"

I was confused and hurting and you left..I was sorrowful and angry and you left. You left a void in my world that I have to learn to fill. A hole, like an open wound that takes time to heal. You left when I needed you most. When my soul was in turmoil. When my life was spiraling into an abyss..You ran the opposite way. Maybe it was self-preservation on your part. Maybe you had every right and reason to leave.. but the fact is you left. And you left a love that was honest and true. Even though at the time it may not have looked like it. But I will carry on, and I will fill that void. And I will let that wound heal.. I will love again. When I am ready, when I can trust, when I can believe in something.  and I will wish you joy and happiness in everything you do. And I will say one more time... I love you... You only have one life.. make it a great one..
