I'm not sure how to start this or even where I am heading with it. We'll see....
I've made a few observations during my time here. We all do it to an extent... we develop an interest in someone. There is a certain spark that intrigues us about another. We look for it in pictures or comments that are mutually left. Perhaps we have even instant messaged back and forth or maybe just maybe talked on the phone.
But there is a concept here that I'm sure is the subject of many masters thesis and if it isn't it may just become mine...
Have you noticed that we tend to build up our e-friends just a tad bit? The internet allows people to build an on-line persona one that is apart from our "real" lives. Heck, CT even has a police department to investigate the fakers. And on top of that you can not go onto the next level until you have your verified salute picture posted.
Some are teachers, others rock stars, or business (wo)men, sports icons, models, my goodness I've encountered people of all walks of life. And I'm all the better for it.
But I digress... In my case, I am who I am. I have not invented an alter E-go. I'm just a girl- who is getting divorced and is trying to find herself again.
Yet recently, I posted a few NSFW pictures and all of a sudden people are questioning who I really am. I have not put myself on your pedestals. I am not made out of marble. I am just a girl who has recently decided to leave her abusive husband in order to mold her own future.
So, if I have bursted your bubble b/c you saw some content that changed your idea of me. Well, I'm sorry. I'm not here to impress anyone. If you enjoyed them- I'm thrilled and I'd be flattered if you commented and rated the pics.
Just a last note- I choose my screen name (as well as my tattoo) to be a butterfly. Butterflies morphis and that is just what I am doing but this time it is for me. So do me a favor and don't touch my wings b/c we all know that if you do the butterfly will die and I prefer to fly.
