I don't know where I'm going to start
Putting my life to rights,
I need to get it done soon though,
Before my world does end,
I am tired of making my way through life,
Not knowing where to go,
lost in the here and now,
Moving to and fro,
Why do I go on like this,
Living for a shattered dream,
Lost upon a hillside while
I am splitting at the seams,
I write about the things that pass
Before my watchful eye,
And smile as the stars do dance
Across a midnights sky,
How to break away from the beauty
And the grace of the world,
Is the only answer to my question
The tree of life hasn't unfurled,
I lay here day in day out,
Waiting for the answer to come,
So I may take this chosen path
To see where I am from,
Softly stepping into clouds,
Glistening in never ending sun,
Listening to the Angels voices,
Watching them pass me one by one.
