Ok, so during lent I'm going to have to go completely vegetarian, almost vegan. The Orthodox lent is more strict than eating for Passover. Thankfully I have vegetarian friends that can help me out with all of this before lent begins. The cool thing is I have my handy dandy Ecclesiastical Calendar to keep track of this stuff now. I thought Ben's eyes were going to pop out of his head last night when he heard I was going to follow lent. Hehehehehe. He doesn't eat anything except meat and a bit of bread or pasta here and there. He'd starve. I am meeting with my priest today to go over the vast array of books I've been through over the years. spiritually/religiously speaking. This should be really interesting.

It's 18:25 on a Saturday night, and I'm about to go to sleep. I would definitely say I have no life except that I've been awake since 02:30 chilling with friends and visiting with people. I finally made it to one of my favorite hang outs today. I <3 the workers @ And Books Too. They are so fun. Today's grievance of choice was a tournament going on. There had to have been 200 people in that building. In other news I got my ring in. It's better quality than I thought. It has a real onyx stone in it and is silver platted. Yay for personal defense. I hope I never have to use it, but it's always good to have a weapon of choice around. Speaking of weapons of choice I almost lost my $60.00 Ken Onion knife today. Ack! Not cool. A new year and new beginnings, right? Sort of... I am thrilled that 2007 is over. Last year was a whirl-wind of ups, downs, screw-ups, joys, and sorrows. I don't regret any of it, and hopefully I have learned from my mistakes accordingly. So far 2008 has given me new hope, new friends [[hugs them all]], and a new peace of mind that was not their previously. I feel more change in the air. I know it's coming. I am actually looking forward to the upcoming semester. I received two of my text books in the mail today: 1. Applied Linear Regression Models 2. An Introduction to Behavioral Endocrinology. I have to take an undergraduate class that the department requires, and of course my thesis/research class. I also think I'm finally adjusting to my medication. It's taken 2 1/2 months, but I'm finally good with everything. That is all.
