Who is the backrupt?

Do you know who is the bankrupt? The Prophet (peace be upon him) once asked his Companions (May Allah be pleased with them), "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" The Companions said, "A bankrupt is the one who has neither dirham (money) nor wealth." The Prophet(peace be upon him) said: The bankrupt of my Ummah (Nation) is he who would come on the Day of Judgment with lotsof prayers, fasts and charities ; but who had offended a person.... Slandered another.... Wrongfully taken the wealth of that person..... Shed another’s blood..... and has beaten still another...... So Allah will take rewards of his good deeds & give them to those who had been victimized by him; If all of his good deeds were finished before their dues were paid.... Their sins will be taken and imposed on him.... ...and consequently, he will be thrown into the fire-pit! Narrated by(Muslim)

Save your good deeds..... For No Visa Card will be accepted..... when the moment of truth arrives..... Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Three (things) follow a dead person: Members of his family, his property and his deeds. Two of them return; and one remains with him. The people and his wealth return; his deeds remain with him". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Sahih Bukhari Hadith

7. Be kind to a pagan father Hadith 8.9 Narrated by Asma bint Abu Bakr (Radhiallah hu Taala anhaa)

My mother came to me, hoping (for my favor) during the lifetime of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam). I asked the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), "May I treat her kindly?" He replied, "Yes." Ibn 'Uyaina said, "Then Allah revealed: 'Allah forbids you not with regards to those who fought not against you because of religion, and drove you not out from your homes, that you should show them kindness and deal justly with them.'.......(60.8)"

8. The kindness of a married lady to her mother Hadith 8.10 Narrated by Abu Sufyan (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

That Heraclius sent for him and said, "What did he, i.e. the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), order you?" I replied, "He orders us to offer prayers; to give alms; to be chaste; and to keep good relations with our relatives."

9. Be kind to a pagan brother Hadith 8.11 Narrated by Ibn Umar (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

My father, seeing a silken cloak being sold, said, "O Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)! Buy this and wear it on Fridays and when the foreign delegates pay a visit to you." He said, "This is worn only by that person who will have no share in the Hereafter." Later a few silken cloaks were given to the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) as a gift, and he sent one of those cloaks to 'Umar. 'Umar said (to the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam)), "How can I wear it while you have said about it what you said?" The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "I did not give it to you to wear but to sell or to give to someone else to wear." So 'Umar sent it to his (pagan) brother who was from the inhabitants of Makkah before he ('Umar's brother) embraced Islam.

I heard Ibn Az-Zubair saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If the son of Adam were given a valley full of gold, he would love (or hope) to have a second one; and if he were given the second one, he would love (or hope) to have a third, for nothing fills the belly of Adam's son except dust (ie. one is buried in one's grave!). And Allah forgives he who repents to Him"

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.446, Narrated by Sahl bin Sad

COMMENTARY : The value of health is only realized when one falls ill. Take for example, relieving oneself. If a person is unable to use the bathroom for a day, what happens to this person? His whole life comes to an immediate halt and he looks for ways to relieve him. This one bounty of Allah we enjoy day in and day out but we do not even regard it to be a bounty. Let us appreciate the bounty of health and use our health in the obedience of Allah Ta'ala. Free time is another bounty of Allah Ta'ala. Consider those people who have to tirelessly work many shifts just to make ends meet. They also cherish free time but are forced just to support their families. Therefore appreciate the free time before you are forced to use it in other ways. A sign of appreciation is to dedicate some of the free time for the Ibaadah and service of Allah. The enjoyment one will earn by doing so can never be explained. Allah states in a Hadith Qudsi "O! Son of Adam free yourself for my obedience and I will make you independent and remove your poverty, and if you will not do so, I will tire you with work and never remove your want and poverty".

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said,

"A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries to the ground. A strong person is the person who contains himself when he is angry."

Al Muwatta Hadith 47.12 Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al-Musayyab from Abu Hurayra

"When one of you becomes angry while standing he should sit down.  If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down."

Umar ibn Abdil-'Aziz(rahimahullah)said:

Become a scholar if you are able.
If you are not able, then be a student.
If you can not, then show love for them.
If you are unable to do that, then(at least)do not hate them.

collected by Ibn Abdil-Barr in Jaami'u Bayaanil-'Ilmi wa Fadhlihi( #143)

The son of Adam says, `My money, my money!' Yet, what is your money except that which you eat and use up, wear and tear, and spend in charity and thus keep (in your record). Other than that, it will go away and will be left for the people (the inheritors).

In addition, Imam Ahmad reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

The life of this world is the residence of those who have no residence, the wealth of those who have no wealth, and it is harvested by those who have no sense of reason.

-----------------

Anak lelaki Adam mengatakan, 'uang Saya, uang saya!'
