What about all the other people who died today who didn't deserve it. Just because they didn't make x amount of money playing a sport are they any less important? Where's the out cry for them? A quick google shows a story of a state troop who was killed in a cigar bar or how about some kid who killed his whole family and then went to school like nothing happened. Why is there more interest in a basketball player then whats going on with the U.S President. What the hell is going on with people. Im scared for my child to have to grow up in a world like this......
We live in a time where people don't stop for school bus's. A time where there are more mass shootings than I cant count. Where church's are being shot up, where our schools are running active shooter drills. Where we cant let our kids play in the yard with out being watched for fear of them being kidnaped. Cant ride a bike to the corner store to get a candy bar. Cant even roam Walmart with out fear of something happening to me or my family. When do you think its a good time to fear? I don't mean to sound rude or overly mean . I just feel that we (the USA) has messed up some where. . This isn't my sons fault. that falls on those that came before him. My fault for letting things get so bad before crying out for change. My generations fault for being soft and worried about offending others instead of standing up for whats right. Im not trying to talk politics here. Simple and basic common sense is lacking. I for one am afraid of what the world will be like as my son turns in to a teen or a young adult.
