So I was checking out a website for custom built computers. They have an option where you can actually get the product delivered on decent credit and you start paying for it on a weekly basis, and with relatively decent money left over out of each check after bills. I also get paid every week from my job. I'm a pretty avid gamer, and this current laptop (500mb Ram, Win XP, for you techies out there, I know it blows) just doesn't cut it by far. Last PC was stolen.
The issue is that they charge anywhere from 9% to 16% monthly interest (dependent on credit check) until it's fully paid off. Tax time is around the corner but I cannot stand waiting, as I am a very impatient person when it comes to having something I'm seriously looking forward to having.
The one I am looking at is $849, but is the patience worth not paying those interest rates?
*Another techie fyi: PC is 16GB Corsair DDR3 Triple Channel Memory, 2 TB Sata III HD, 16mb cache, Nvidia GT520 2GB Video Card, 4x USB 3.0 ports, 120mm radiator cooling system, etc. Rest is rather dull info.
