This one is called Dreams
As I dream in the void of the night
I see images that complicate my life
The past events that made my mark
My aura, my accomplishments
My one life's spark
I dream and I wonder
How my life is going to be
What it is
I will have to wait and see
How I long to finally be free
From this stage of life, it's my one life's plea
When my dreams turn mad
And what happens to me is bad
I wake up, and I come to grips
It was just a dream
Not one of life's trips
When I dream of the things I want
It's only me with a self-taunt
I wake up to see if it's there
But all I find is a lot of air
For me to dream, it fills up a space
Without them, surely I would be erased
But in dreams I can do things right
It's the time I can truely contemplate my life
Make my choices
My dreams are my life
