Before I paste this one, I'll give a little background. Being the social networking whore that I am, I'm on several sites including one called Netlog. Also being the nerd/loser that I sometimes am, I met an amazingly beautiful, witty, and very interesting girl named Liz. She went to school about 20 minutes or so away, and for three or four weeks, we tried to meet up somewhere and chill. Many things got in the way, and right before we were going to meet for sure, she told me that she had just gotten a boyfriend. So here's to remembering wonderful times of courtship and flirtation. A Bouquet of Word You look quite lovely this fine October day And I just might be so very bold to say That all things good your face does portray Such beauty as shown when the trees sway And that same shown when kind creatures play When we speak, no troubles on my heart weigh But I will admit it sometimes does go astray Leaping to you without the slightest delay Hoping you will accept it in a favorable way I can only hope that we will not grow passé And that the memories of good times do not decay But now I will attempt to keep my tongue at bay And settle for handing you these words in a bouquet

It's best to start off strong, right? Here is one of my earliest and best writings. The End of Days The stars won't stay in the sky tonight As they begin their fiery falling flight So begin the final days of raging fire These days where all's fate is most dire As the meteors fall and torrents rain Soon will be the end of creation's pain Now judgement's sky will fill with grays As this darkened planet comes to the end of days This empire of man on Earth At the end has no real worth Cities fall and flames rise Destroying what great men devise As the meteors fall and torrents rain Soon will be the end of creation's pain Now judgement's sky will fill with grays As this darkened planet comes to the end of days The celestial bodies will now align As all that's known faces the end of time The planet moans its final, gasping breath As it arrives at its sad, untimely death As the meteors fall and torrents rain Soon will be the end of creation's pain Now judgement's sky will fill with grays As this darkened planet comes to the end of days Now the mind of life questions itself When under burning skies only seconds remain Nothing was all of that knowledge and wealth Creation has finally seen its mistake with disdain As the meteors fall and torrents rain Soon will be the end of creation's pain Now judgement's sky will fill with grays As this darkened planet comes to the end of days
