The stars streaked across the deep blue night Out into the world without the slightest bit of fright To the north and south, not a thing would stir My thoughts echoed, and in my head they blurred The rocks were scattered across the river before me With each step I took, it became harder to see The moonlight only reached so far The dark paths ahead seemed so hard Through the trees I now walk And to the smiling moon I talk Though no reply is received Every thought is believed Starlight faded to dawn in my eyes A tear came to my eye as I watched the twilight die The reality of my life soon faded into dreams And to this day, I still wonder what it all means My thoughts are scattered like the clouds above No light breaks through It veils all love My expression is as hard as the trees I pass by The limbs pat me on the shoulder And my spirit begins to fly Cue the sunrise on another dark day It struggles to rise But I still make my way So I turn the page on the book of me I lock the door, and turn a different key What will open now, I cannot see Just another chapter in the book of me My connection with the sky forever strengthens It's bond is never broken It's vision never corrupted Their grip on my life will always tighten It's touch is so concealing It's brightness is so revealing This chapter of my life is yet to be finished There are so many locked doors And many restraining chores So I turn the page on the book of me I lock the door, and turn a different key What will open now, I cannot see Just another page in the book of me.

I write your name in the sand, and watch the tide wash it away I feel the ground beneath my feet, diminish like the day The sun sets over the horizon, another day ends I close my eyes to dream of a love that will not bend With the waking sun, comes the sweet thoughts of you I can't help but smile thinking of a love so true Often I wonder what I did so right To deserve someone as wonderful as you in my life I breathe easy now, as I stare at the tide Knowing you are always there by my side.

Make me strong Make me wild Make me breathe the World's air Make me tall Make me brave Make me live without a prayer Make me smart Make me bright Make me live without a fright Make me funny Make me wise Make me honest in both God's eyes Make me equal Make me proud Let my voice be strong and loud Let me laugh Let me play Let me stay true and never stray

The sun's light passes me by The world has changed in the blink of an eye No longer do our son's mothers cry Nature turns and begins to die The foreseen day has finally arrived Fold your hands and close your eyes Do not glare as they pass you by Nothing but hatred and fire in their eyes Their necrotic views bend God's own rules As devils and demons and angels duel The souls of the world they wish to consume And drive the weak to an inevitable doom Darkness blooms in the brightest of places A struggle between humans and animals and races The segregation of our chaotic nations Voids eternity and imagination

Do you ever lye awake at night counting all the stars? In hopes that staring into Heaven will heal all your scars The twilight pierces soul and doubt while you wonder what this life's about you dream of a day without tears,forgotten years,forgotten tears We never look to the sky anymore, or spend enough time on our beautiful shores solitude we wish to seek, a glimpse of Heaven can make us weak for the heart can bear but just a few burdens, until the soul screams wondering if anyone has heard them.

Eyes that peirce flesh and a voice that could shatter mountains Curves that deafen the clouds and skin of a celestial horizon Staring at you feels almost like a sin worth burning for Time will tell how long my heart will wait upon this shore As you lie there on the grass the wind caresses my every dream Slowly I approach as the blood in my veins scream Yesterday fades like mist on the mountains like dreams in a fountain
