My heart was bleeding Lying broken upon the floor It had exploded into tiny pieces The minute he walked out the door. I walked for awhile in the darkness Never veering towards love’s light My world was full of shadows Full with the darkness of night. Then you came along and opened me up You put the beat back into my heart Because of you my life now had meaning I was able to give love a new start. I know this is real These feelings I have for you You’ve made me feel so much inside Feelings so strong and so true.

Being a lost soul of the dark of night I always tend to veer from the light Peace and happiness are not for me Pain and misery are all I will ever see. I chose to walk this path in life for me That is the way I can make it through At least this way I know what to expect I cant say the same for you. When you walk in the light You tend to expect way too much Like loves little miracles Or someones special touch. You get all comfortable with the way love feels You expect it to be there all through the years Then one day its up and out the front door And you lay cryin upon the floor. With my way of walkin through this life I will never have to deal with that pain I wont ever have to have my heartbroken Or feel like loves driving me insane. So you can question my way of thinking You can even try to put me down But once love bites you in the ass I guarantee you’ll come around.

I killed our love before it ever got to start I sent him away but he took my heart I knew it was over when he wouldnt talk Again down the path of darkness I walk. I had found true love or so I had thought He had all the right things I had sought But again I destroyed whatever we had Now I sit here cryin lookin so sad. I knew better then to give my heart away But he had all the right things to say He was my friend and conquered my wall His love was so real it was easy to fall But now he is gone away from me True love for me will never be. My wall is back up secured tightly then before Love will never get through it anymore.

They say its better to have loved and lost Then to never have loved at all But that idiot obviously never felt the bliss of love And then the terrible miserable fall. I know that love is a truly wonderful thing A feeling like none other in life to feel But when that love goes away It takes forever for your heart to heal. Once you have experienced both sides of the coin You have to ask it its all worth it to you Do you want to risk your happiness In hopes that the new love is true.

The light in his parents eyes And the smile on everyones face Could only come from This special childs loving embrace His smile shone brighter Than the stars at night He could chase away your darkness And let in all the light He was a treasure to all And loved by many more More love than any one child Has ever known before He walked upon the Earth With the light in his eyes Now he shines that light on us From high up in the sky An angel here in this world But is now at home up above Takin our hearts with him And leaving us his love. A great woman was she As she walked upon this earth. Willing to do what she could To take awa all the pain and hurt. Her eyes twinkled bright Brighter than the stars above Her heart shone through those eyes Beaming proud of all her love. a frail woman she looked but looks can be deceiving they say For a strong woman was she Especially when it came to her family The hour has passed Thes angel was called home above Leaving behind her memories and spirit But mostly leaving us all her love. Love ya Memaw...miss ya
