Lifes little snowballs

Life’s Snowballs What happens when life throws you a snowball? You throw it in a bowl and add a little sugar and cream and eat it up. Smile when you have been thrown a curve, because it is just a pause before the really good stuff that is about to happen to you. Don't fret the pause, use it as time to contemplate what is about to come. I love snow-cream, and I have eaten my share of snowballs. But oh the wonderous things that came afterwards were by far some of the greatest moments in my life. So come on life, hit me again, I know there are some really great things coming my way yet. PEACE! Melanie

Third Quarter

Third Quarter: How often I ponder my life's past experiences, and in doing such, realize my own growth. As of late, I have also come to the conclusion that we are all growing in the same direction. From infancy to adulthood, I was sort of shy. Unknowing of who I was or what my purpose for being here, led me to shy away from people. I made friends, but usually with the aid of a bottle of beer or a toke on some great weed. I guess it freed me enough to open my mouth to speak. Silly me. I missed a lot of great people being shy. My second quarter of life taught me many lessons of humility and humanity. I suffered greatly to learn all that I did. And while I hated the lesson, I joyed at the insight I received afterwards as I grew. I talked freely then, like me or not, I said what was on my mind. I probably hurt a lot of feelings which I am very sorry for, but was necessary for me to grow. Now in my third quarter of life, after all I have survived, I have learned to love greatly and with all my heart. I found not just the love of a great man, but love for all mankind. I embrace each soul I meet as if they were my long lost brother or sister. And I love them just as such. I have learned that LOVE is the purpose of us all. To know and give unconditional love to all we come in contact with. Most people are still too cautious to accept a stranger into their fold. Hug them when they need a hug, feed them when they are hungry, cry and laugh with them when they feel the need to share their lives with us. But with each passing gift of friendship, no matter how fleeting, I am blessed 1000 fold for having met them. If this is my third quarter, I wonder what my final years will bring. It must be something very awe-inspiring. Though I can wait a few more years to grow old, I can hardly wait to see what I will experience. Maybe I'll be around on fubar to share it with you all. As for all my friends who may or may not read this blog. I love you all dearly, and hold each of you deep within my heart. What a party that would be if you could all meet within my heart! Because I have the most awsome of friends... You! Melanie
