HER ROOM.....as she listens to the silence of the darkness, she knows he will come. Her stomach is sick. "Please God , No" she whispers. Her small hands fumble for her blanket...If only she could vanish into nonexistence. HE FINDS HER...."no father"....her words nullified like her echoing screams.
HER MOTHER...abrogated by the codiene coarsing in her veins. The blood of her lost innocense, egresses down her limbs, adding to the stains on the sheet, filled with HER tears, HER pride, and HER dignity.
His nervous hands hang the sheet along the clothes line....as the rain washes HER away...the sun comes, and she will evaporate...only to fall again....in THE RAIN UPON THE STREET BENEATH HER FEET.
