I'm a lyrical person. I think the lyrics in music speak just as much to me as the music itself. Some remind me of things going on in my life. Some describe the world in all of its non-glory. Some just make me think. The ability to express yourself through song is truly a gift. Below are some of my favorites.... not all of them, but some. "Independence limited. Even though I'm still going through such crap with my court case against the BMV... and even though I don't have the job I so desperately want and need, I'm still thankful for so many things. I'm thankful for... My beautiful boys. Though at times they piss me off to no end, I love them both immeasurably. Without them my life would be meaningless and empty. Bryant. He is a wonderful guy and a terrific father to our youngest son. He has helped me out so much in these trying times and his support and love mean the world to me. My brother Billy. He's a pain in the azz, but I would be lost without him. He's still one of my best friends. I still wish he could learn how to pimp out his page OWN cherry page, but hey... I can't have everything, lol. My awesome friends, both online and off. Friends just always have a way of making me feel better when I'm down. They make me smile, they listen to my crap, they send me messages or e-mails that make me laugh, cry, groan and even make me think. Without good, true friends in my life, I would be nothing. I thank the Lord for allowing me to wake up every morning and to make it to bed safely every night. I thank the Lord for watching over my family and friends and keeping them safe. I thank the Lord for loving me despite my numerous faults and staying by my side. When I really look at the big picture, I'm really a lot luckier in life than I realize. Life, as a whole, is good. For that, I am thankful. Karen
