Shadow of the Id
From whence shadows come, dark and deep,
Where passion burns and daemons sleep,
From close among the sleepless crypt,
From the crag where lovers leapt,
My soul does seek a clever boon,
A lover's touch - not so soon.
To fire and forge a bond, nay lust,
To have her near, I just can't trust,
Myself (a fool) a pitied thing,
Only bound by morals - not a ring.
To take her near, like a beast,
Use her body as my feast,
For carnal pleasures, I can guess,
Waiting for the willing on which to test.
