Ok. I will actually make a mumm that I need outside opinion on. I was married once. Yes, I know that is a shock for all of you that someone actually liked me enough to say I do. Anyway, my ex-wife has a daughter that has called me daddy since she was 1. She is now 11. My ex-wife and I have been divorced for like 4 years now and I am still daddy in her daughter's eyes and help out when I can as far as her getting her what she needs. My best friend has been telling me since I am divorced and my ex-wife is getting remarried for the 2nd time since me that all financial obligations to the daughter went away. My thing is I have always been daddy so I should continue to be a dad even though she is not biologically mine and I didn't adopted her.
So here is the mumm....Am I right for continuing to be a father to a child that isn't mine or am I just a holding on to a child I shouldn't be.
I know some of you have plenty of bashing on this one just leave the child out of the bashing. Other then that bash away if you must. |
