Is one animal or human based on the decisions we make? My past psychology class has taught me a lot about the human brain. It is the driving force of hunger, pain, sexual desire, emotions, and logic. Animals rely on instinct to survive. Humans can choose to ignore instinct in order to survive. If anyone has read the book "Dune" by Frank Herbert, you know that Paul Atredies was tested to see if he was human or animal. The Reverend mother placed his hand in a box and induced extreme pain. The animal instinct was to remove his hand from the box. He knew if he removed his hand, he would die and therefore be called an animal. Humans have the power to control instincts if they wish. The most difficult instinct to overcome is sexual desire. We all know sex makes us feel good, but why do we have these feelings? It's to breed. We don't breed with every person that walks down the street that we know is in heat. We choose who we want to share sex. Of course I'm not talking about those sluts, whores, and rapists out there. They are clearly animals. Early in my life, I chose to wait until marriage to have sex. I broke that promise with myself because I was naive and I thought I was in love. Does that make me an animal? I'm not sure. So, again I vowed to myself, wait until marriage. So I did. Does that make me human?

I'm gonna talk about random things today. First subject: Jealousy Jealousy is a controlled emotion. We can choose to be jealous or not. I choose not to. No one in the their entire life is meant to experence everything or be with someone 24/7. I see all these girls get jealous that their boyfriend, fiance, husband, or whatever hugs someone else. Like OMG... Hugging someone else outside of the family doesn't mean that they are screwing each other when you turn your back. COME ON! The only reason anyone gets jealous is an insecurity with themself. All they need to do is take a deep breath and let it all float away. If that doesn't work, seek therapy. Of course, if you see your man or woman screwing someone else...that's different. Second subject: Whoreizm (if that is even a word) A majority of the people I work with are single moms. I love them all to death. I admire them too because they work to feed their kids and put clothes on their back. I'm not gonna name anyone...so I'll call her Mother of 3 (Mo3). Mo3 had her first kid when she was 16, her second at 18 or 19, and her third at 24. All from different fathers. She's now talking about how horny she is and how bad she wants a man. She also says that she's gonna get some by next week and she doesn't care who. I don't get it. To me that's selfish and degrating. I love her to death, but she might as well become a full-time hooker, or buy a BOB and a porn. Works wonders. Could someone explain why someone does that to themself? Third subject: Sudoku Ha...I got addicted to this silly puzzle. I do them at work on my break. Now people think I'm this heavenly genius. I taught one co-worker of mine how to do it...and she didn't even graduate high school. She loves them now. Yet a majority of people say to me,"That's too much thinkin'!" or the classic "That's for them smart people." Ok people, all you need is five minutes of instruction and an easy level puzzle to start with and you go from there. IT'S SIMPLE!!!!
