There are many medical conditions in which a woman cannot conceive a child. For a woman, giving birth to a new life is the most special thing that is possible. But it does not change the fact that there are several women who face this bitter truth of not being able to bring a child into this world. Even though if a woman is not able to do so, it does not mean that she cannot embrace the love of a child. There are options of loving and raising a beautiful child. The most common options are:

Surrogacy

It is an arrangement through which another female can carry and birth the child for the intended couple. The mother who carries the child is called the surrogate mother. Surrogacy is further divided into two types:

• Gestational/ Full surrogacy: In this type of surrogacy, an embryo is planted in the surrogate mother who is further fertilized. The baby produced through this process has not genetic relation with the surrogate mother. It is why it is less complex in legal terms and is used more than the traditional surrogacy.
•  Traditional/partial surrogacy: in traditional surrogacy, the surrogate mother is fertilized naturally or artificially. In this process, the baby delivered is genetically related with the surrogate mother who sometimes causes legal issues if not settled with the surrogate mother priory.

Adoptions

This is the most common and hassle free way of having a child. There are several adoption centers which have children who are either orphans or who did not have the parents because they left them there. This gives many adoption options to an individual or a couple to adopt a child and give him/her the home they deserve. Adoption is considered the best option because:

• You provide a life to a child who is already in this world, but is less fortunate.
• Adopting a child does not require thousands of dollars to be spent.
•  The legal formalities are much easier, and a child is a child.

There are several couples who prefer surrogacy over adoption as they wish for their own blood. Adopting a child for some people is not exactly having a child while surrogacy provides them that. Whatever the choices are, adoption is relatively a better option because there are already less fortunate kids who are without parents and a couple without kids can provide them with a family.
