THE JOB - URINE TEST (I sure would like to know who wrote this one! They deserve a HUGE pat on the back!) I HAVE TO PASS A URINE TEST FOR MY JOB... SO I AGREE 100%. Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt, doing drugs, while I work.. Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though.. something has to change in this country -- and soon!

Ok. So I just went to the grocery store. Normally a pretty boring experience. I was walking around minding my own business when I saw this guy. I was like, "Hm. That guy looks like Tay Zonday." I looked again, sure as shit it WAS Tay Zonday. I was in disbelief. I sort of stood there for a second, then I turned to the guy next to me and said "Hey is that.." He cut me right off and said "Chocolate Rain". So I shook my head, and turned to the counter. When I was walking out he was just bagging up his groceries. I walked up to him and said, "Cool video man, let me buy you a cantaloupe." He laughed and said "Thanks." I walked off. So to sum it up, I just bought Tay Zonday a cantaloupe. If you don't know who it is.. wonder no more:

So here's the scoop. I was sitting in my class today, and I had just finished smoking my robotics final. I went to check my email and it said I need to call my contact at this place that automates buildings right away. I knew the news was going to be good, because if it isn't they will just ignore you. So I got home, gave my buddy Joe a call.. and he offered me a job programming logic controllers that will control everything in entire buildings from security, to environmental controls (heat, cooling, lights, etc..). I asked him how much.. and he made me an offer, and told me I would get a 4$/hr raise after 90 days. (As well as an all expenses paid week long trip to Chicago for some training.) So.. there's the word. Now I won't have to type it out 15 times :)
