SPIRITS - A Spirit is an energy being that is not an angel. A spirit or soul is created by God in the Absolute Realm of existence separately and distinctly from the angelic race of beings. A spirit can manifest itself in the physical world in several ways - human, animal, plant, insect, or even exist metaphysically among the living. Some souls choose to remain in all lifetimes upon earth as animals or humans. A spirit has one general purpose which it may often forget - to achieve a higher level of development which eventually reunites it with its other half and God. A spirit that ascends to the highest level may appear angelic because it is ascended so high to God's energy. These souls are called Master Teachers and give guidance to other souls on achieving that level. Souls have one thing which no other being has - Free Will. An ascended being will guide other souls but will never tell what you should choose, simply because it is your right or Free Will to choose your path. Things can and are suggested, but any soul that tries to tell you what to choose is a lesser developed soul and one frought with problems. Souls do return to the physical world several times over many different lifetimes. How they manifest themselves upon returning is a choice. Who they come to, what they will do again is a choice made in the Absolute Realm. Several lifetimes can cross over between souls - one soul can be mother, sister, lover, daughter to the same other soul in different lifetimes. The relationship between souls is developed on the depth of emotional attachment. What is shared in the Absolute Realm between souls are emtions. The greatest and deepest of the emotional attachments is that between twin souls - those souls that are one from one, torn in half by the power of God to bring to each other an understanding of love. The deepest journey in love any soul can take is in the separation of twin souls. To understand and grow through that pain ascends the soul. Emotions reflect the spiritual development of souls. Earth is a place designed to understand any undesirable emotions and to readjust the soul to what it does desire in itself. The higher the vibration of positive energy in the soul, the more angelic the soul appears while the opposite is also true. Some souls separate from the reality of the phsyical world manifest themselves as harmful spirits or poltergists. They do damage not always intentionally, but because the energy of their beings interferes with the physical world. Other poltergists however are very conscious of what is happening in the physical world and take delight in entertaining fear in the observers of their activities. They will insist upon harnessing their powers to induce fear, as that emotion is high energy. At the same time,a poltergist can be content to stay in its environment because it is learning to use its spirit powers to affect physical reality - something it might not choose to do were it an ascended soul. Most poltergists are lower soul development. Elementals are the lowest form of soul development - they are the residual energies left over by souls in places of high trauma or abuse. Some will say elementals are not even souls because they focus and feed on the most basic dark emotions - fear, hatred, and anger. An elemental are unable to manifest in the physical world because it is not one soul, but the remnant energies trying to form a soul. Elementals can be detected by foul odors, strong sense of fear or hatred, and a black mass that resembles many different things but does not congeal into one specific form. Higher level souls also return to the physical world in visitation. They come back to places of pleasant memories or tragedies. The reason a soul comes back depends on how much they have learned to let go of in the Absolute realm. If they come back simply to remember good times, they are healed and like tourists see the past only, not always the present. If they are not healed from the trauma, the therapy they may be undergoing is visitation to the place until they can accept what happened and release the pain. Sometimes the releasing of pain is as simple as letting someone on the physical side know what happened - especially if it was a hushed up death. Souls in the Absolute travel time and space easily. Nothing is linear, nothing is forbidden. Everything depends on your choice. If you see and believe yourself a good energy being, you go where those beings exist. That is the only limitation - your own emotional choice.

Finding our way back to wholeness We all long for wholeness, dont we? Long to be full and complete in ourselves, and often this translates into the longing for a special person to share our lives with, and even, to complete us. But where does this longing come from? Partly, from our natural desire as a child, for union with our opposite-sex parent. This natural loving desire usually presses Mum or Dads buttons as being somehow improper and it gets quashed, leaving us with the message I cant join and be complete. This unfulfilled yearning for completeness then plays out in our relationships. Even this though, is just part of a deeper story. Legend has it that originally we were androgenous, masculine and feminine, combined. We got split off eons ago into male and female and have been trying to put ourselves back together ever since! This inner yearning, and conflict, is played out, over and over, in the so called battle between the sexes. As our consciousness evolves as a planet, and we become more aware, certain issues come up from time to time for planetary healing. In other words, a theme or story evolves that many of us are working on collectively in our relationships. So it is, just now, where it seems the understandable rage that women have felt towards men, for their warlike actions on the planet, and also, the anger women feel towards themselves for allowing it to happen, is being worked on. (Not blaming men, its just an interesting overall theme which may or may not apply to you). There now seems to be a genuine desire from women to co-create with their men, but not at the expense of the old way with the man always having to be the leader! Many of the women around me seem weary of this model! How to attain equality for co-creation, without butting heads? Instead of fighting with him about control, try modeling co-creation. In other words, come to him with the beginnings of something you want to create together, and invite him to join you. The other theme at the moment is to allow. So instead of arguing and pushing for what you want, open and allow it to come to you. It creates a space in between where the sexes at least have an opening for... a meeting! A soul mate is generally thought of as someone with whom we have a very deep soul connection, and have lived many lives together. So how do you know when you meet them? Well, everything weve ever experienced in every lifetime is recorded in our aura as feelings. When you meet someone you have a close connection with, you will feel a sense of familiarity, a knowing. This is because you have felt this person before and are familiar with their energy. So what happens once you find your soul mate? Bliss? Melding? Oh noooo! Quite the opposite! The joy of soul mate is that you are traveling through the universal continuum together for the purpose of becoming whole and experiencing all the different aspects of yourselves. So, when you meet, your soul mate will automatically possess the most finely honed ability ever, for pushing your buttons, so you get to experience any parts of yourself that are not whole, and heal them. This is of course, the most wonderful, precious and treasured gift. Though not necessarily easy to live with. You will learn and heal more about yourself than you thought possible. And you will want to strangle them one minute and worship them the next! It is the strength of the love that will make you stay, even though it might be uncomfortable, so that you can overcome and heal the various things you need to work on together. Hang in there, Im told it improves after the first couple of years. Soulmates who have been together a while eventually overcome their major differences and then settle into co-creating their lifes work together. Inviting in your soulmate meditation Relax, breathe deeply, and find yourself in the perfect space for you and your soulmate to meet. Feel comfortable and safe. There is a door in front of you. Beyond the door, your soul mate is waiting. Allow the door to open, and greet them. Invite them to come towards you. Talk to them. They have a gift to give you. Allow and accept it and thank them and give them your gift in return. Take a moment to talk a bit more. Dwell there with them for a time. And then gently return to the room.

We are like rivers. On the surface we are all shiny and clear, shimmering with freshness and life, but deep within us run powerful unseen currents of soul-memories and desires. These deep currents are the cumulative effects of ages of soul-life and many incarnations in the Earth. They cause us to love one person and despise another; to feel wonderful vibrations with a particular individual in one aspect of our lives only to feel awkward and uncomfortable with that same person in another aspect of our lives. Patterns and habits have formed deep within our inner-consciousness and shape the way we interact with people around us. Everyone involved in our present lives was very likely involved in our past lives. Actually, it is likely they have been involved in many of our past lives. Our parents, brothers and sisters, spouses, children, friends, colleagues, bosses and employees, and even our enemies began sharing life with us long before the present lifetime. The effects of these many past-life experiences are reflected in the circumstances that now surround our present relationships. The soul's memories of past-life activities with others shape our innate reactions to them. Of course, their memories of our past-life actions influence how they react to us. Through the same eyes that the personality sees life, the soul sees it, but the soul looks with a memory covering centuries of passion and adventure, caring and love, hatred and revenge, doubt and fear. When we feel a seemingly unfounded fondness for another person, it is very likely due to soul memory of the positive role he or she played in our past lives. On the other hand, when we react with what seems to be an unfounded revulsion or hatred towards another person, you can be pretty sure it is because the soul recalls their past actions against us or our loved ones. However, the influences of past-life actions are rarely so clear cut. Often those with whom we have had many good lives and relationships are the same people with whom we have had many problems and disagreements, a mix of "good" and "bad karma, " so to speak. In fact, it's rare that a past-life relationship has every aspect of life in good, clear focus. Those positive, well-developed aspects from our past lives will give us much pleasure and support in the present. Conversely, those aspects which we did not have in proper focus will give us opportunities for pain and growth in present relationships. Avoiding these influences is simply not possible. Whether we like it or not, the Universal Law of Karma constantly brings before each of us the meeting of our past use of free will and consciousness. Thus, what we have done to other souls and they have done to us is reflected in the circumstances surrounding our present relationships and the basic, innate urges, attitudes and emotions we feel toward each other. SOUL GROUPS These basic ideas of past relationships and their present influences are not only true of individual relationships but also of group relationships. From the beginning our souls have tended to travel together in groups, and the very act of traveling together for such long periods creates forces of attraction that help to maintain and build on these group relationships. Nearly all souls on the planet today were together in past ages of human history. As a result, the relationships among the peoples of the world today are a reflection of their past activities with each other. The souls who came in to this planetary system and entered the realms of consciousness associated with this region of the cosmos comprise our largest soul group. This group can then be divided into the subgroups we call "the generations, " containing souls who move through the natural cycles of Earth life together, which can be further divided into the various nations, cultures, races, religions, etc., that have formed during ages of interaction together. Within these groups are the subgroups of souls who share similar philosophies, ideas, purposes, aspirations and attitudes. From here the soul groups further divide into the many smaller groups of personal relationships: communities, families, businesses, teams, schools and so on. Soul groups create an affinity among their members by not only the cumulative experiences they share, but also through their collective memory of how life has been for them and what they have come to mutually desire out of it. In a manner of speaking, such groups form a distinct collective consciousness and spirit, much like the souls who gave us "the spirit of '76, " reflecting that soul group's mutual hopes, attitudes, purposes and memories. Soul groups are neither rigid nor static. Any individual soul can use its free will to seek an experience in another group. There are many cases of souls changing political allegiance, race, or religion from one lifetime to another. Neither do the generations incarnate in strict, rigid patterns. A member of one generation may enter again with another generation. For example, two members of a family group who were father and son in one life may change positions and become son and father in another, or grandfather and grandson. They may even choose to be in the same generation in an incarnation as brothers, for example. However, they may choose not to be in the same family again. Although soul groups are fairly well established and have significant pull on the individuals within them, they do not have greater influence than an individual soul's will to change. Generally, however, soul groups cycle in and out of the Earth together and, therefore, at approximately the same time. (I am speaking in eras and ages, not days or years.) This is particularly evident in the past-life readings, as they are called, of Edgar Cayce. Many of them were for souls who fell into one of two major soul groups and naturally followed their cycles of incarnation. Notice in the following listing that the two groups mentioned were sometimes in the Earth at the same periods, but in different locations, not surprisingly. Edgar Cayce and those who worked closely with him also traveled with one of these two groups. THE INCARNATIONS OF TWO MAJOR SOUL GROUPS FOUND IN THE EDGAR CAYCE READINGS Group l: Early Atlantis Early Ancient Egypt Persia (during the time of Croseus I, II) Palestine (during the time of Christ) The Crusades Colonial America Group 2: Late Atlantis Late Ancient Egypt Early Greece Rome (during the time of Christ) France (during the time of Louis XIV, XV, XVI) The American Civil War Of course, these are only the most significant incarnations for these souls; they would most probably have incarnated many more times than the list indicates. There were also other incarnation-sequences given, but the majority of the readings were for souls who typically cycled with one of these two major groups. We should also take a look at.some significant exceptions to this pattern. Some souls did not always incarnate with their group, choosing instead to skip a cycle or enter with another group, though they usually rejoined their original group eventually. Others, though cycling into the Earth-plane with their group, did not actually incarnate, i.e., did not enter into a body; rather they stayed in the spirit and helped from a higher vantage point while the others incarnated. One example of this comes from an Edgar Cayce reading for a woman who wanted to know why she hadn't been given an incarnation during the Palestine era in which her present son and husband had incarnated. She was told that she was there, but not in the flesh. She was, as some of us would term it today, a "guardian angel" for her present son while he lived and worked in that period. A group of souls may find themselves together again and yet not one of them desired it to be so. In these cases, it is often the forces of the Universal Law that cause them to come together. For better or for worse they now have to meet the effects of their past actions with each other. The Universal intention is that the confrontation will lead to a resolution of their karma or at least a recognition of how their past actions with each other have caused the present predicament, and they will resolve not to act that way again. Both in individual and group relationships, the karmic effects of past actions with others can create some very difficult, even terrible situations. The meeting can result in murder, rape, torture and other atrocities. Even in lesser cases karmic effect can result in back-biting, back-stabbing, bickering, fighting and other turmoils. Imagine what might happen if the universal forces of cause and effect brought together the souls of the Roman Coliseum and the souls they fed to the lions, or the Conquistadors and the Incas and Aztecs, or the Nazis and Jews. The same cause-and-effect forces play a part in individual lives, too. Imagine if the Law brought together a victim killed in a family quarrel and his or her murderer. What about a soul who betrayed another's trust or love? What would be the reaction toward one another in this present Life? When lives are heavily burdened by the negative effects of their past actions, their present experience is often tragic, and occasionally their lives may appear to be wasted senselessly. However, from the soul's perspective a single incarnation is a learning-experience and an opportunity to resolve past actions that are now holding the soul back from a fuller life. One physical life is not the ultimate living experience for the soul. It is an opportunity to resolve the burdens past actions have placed upon our souls and to clear away the many ideas that continue to confuse and limit us. So even though the seventy or eighty years that comprise the average lifetime seem so very singular and final, it is only a temporary sojourn, a brief experience along an infinite path of soul-life. Of course, all the good that has been experienced among the various souls and soul groups has just as strong an effect on present situations as does evil, and when we focus on this "good karma" we often find better ways to resolve the negative influences.

A long long time ago, there was birth in the Universe, and the Source was reveling in creation. The Source was creating not only planets and asteroids and suns and galaxies, He/She was also creating new parts of Him/Herself! These little sparks of God were called Souls, and each one was made directly of the Source, making each little Soul The Source. One day, the Source came up to a group of Souls playing and enjoying themselves and said "Namaste my Dearest Family of Light. I Love you all. I have a question to ask of you." The Souls listened intently as their Creator spoke. "There is a planet in a distant galaxy, the planet is called Gaia, and it is the most divine of my creations in that it is in the Free Will Universe. The planet itself is a Library of Life. It is lush and beautiful and so vibrant. The planet itself is so alive and full of Love. I would like to conduct a grand experiment there, and I need your help!" God spoke excitedly and the Souls began to vibrate with excitement as well. "What I need you all to do my beloved Family, is to assume a much more dense form, a 'Body', and with this body you will take on physical attributes and biology. You will have a 'brain' and a 'vascular system' and your body will rely largely on these biological functions. It will be your objective to work through many MANY lifetimes to integrate your Light body with your physical body. Do you understand so far?" The souls nodded and smiled at each other joyously in anticipation. "There is a wonderful hitch though my Family! You will assume your physical biology with NO memory of Home, and who you ARE right now." The souls looked at God questioningly and one little Light raised its hand. "Creator, how can we integrate our Light if we do not remember it?" "Ahhh my wise little daughter I knew I could count on you asking that question!" God smiled proudly. "Quite simply THAT is the reason for this experiment! We are going to see how you function as a biological being in a dense body with NO memory of Home and who you ARE. This is why it will take many MANY lifetimes. At the end of each phase of learning you will return Home with your experiences, lessons, and opinions of your biological incarnation. You will share with your Circle of Light and they in turn will share the experience with other Circles. This sharing of Knowledge will be called Love. And the knowledge itself we will call Light. I am quite confident that as Gods yourself, no matter how many lifetimes it may take you, you will eventually begin to remember your True nature as Family of Light." "God," asked a shy young Soul in the background, "will we be alone? Will we be afraid?" "Aha! My dearest Son you are so brave and full of Spirit! Thank you for addressing this question! You will NOT be alone! EVER! You will always have Spirit with you. A part of your Self will remain here at Home, and they will constantly be tapped into YOU on Gaia. You will always have access to your Self, your Spirit, and Spirit will give you gentle whispers and nudges along the way to help guide you when you are in need. You will also have your dear Teachers and Mentors on your shoulder aiding you in the Game. Your Guides will be available to you always, all you need to do is listen to them. And in addition to that my dearest DEAREST Family of Light... I WILL be there with you. When you look to the beauty on Gaia, you will see me. When you look to the sky and see the Sun or the Moon and Stars, you will see ME. And when you connect to Spirit you will be connecting to ME. I love you all so much. Gaia herself will aid you in so many ways you will not even be aware of at first. She will feed you her loving energy and vibrations, and you will rely on her for your food and drink and warmth and shelter. She will be your Mother. Since this is a free will planet, there will be NO rules. You will create your own reality by thought alone. If your thoughts are that of fear and desolation then you will create lessons and scenarios to work through in those ways. If your thoughts are that of Light and Love then you will speed up your memory process. There will be no right or wrong. There will only be BE-ING. There will be a score system set in place, which I have called 'Karma', and you will use your karma to help you keep on track. Karma will help you remember your lessons, and if you fail to learn one in one lifetime, you will return into the next incarnation with the same Karma, and so on, until you do remember, and learn that particular lesson. Learn to read your karma, to identify it, it will be your guidepost. You are so wonderful and beautiful and full of Love. So what do you think?" The little souls all looked at each other, some with excitement, others with anxiousness, but all with anticipation. And in unison they cried out "YES! YES! We WILL play the Game!" "Glorious!" Cried out Creator. "We shall begin immediately then! And remember my dearest Family of Light, I will be with you always, just look to your heart center, keep your Light swirling and active, and I will be felt. You will do amazing things, I am sure of it. And I am so eager to learn through you... You will be MY teachers! I LOVE YOU." And with that the little souls began to gather in their Circles of Light in preparation of their first incarnation. What a wonderful Game this would be... what a wonderful experience!
