MR's blog: "THE ZONE"

I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT IS WE AS A PEOPLE DO NOT PROTECT OUR CHILDREN THE WAY WE SHOULD AND HOLD OTHER ADULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. HERE IN BMORE A CHURCH MUSICAL LEADER HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH RAPE OF A MINOR, WHO IS MEMBER OF THE CHURCH. NO ONE IN THE CONGREGATION WANTS TO COMMENT. WHY NOT? THE TIGHT LIPPED, LOYALTY GIG IS UP. EVEN THOUGH HE HAS NOT BEEN TRIED JUST YET WHY DOES THE CONGREGATION CHOOSE TO STAY HUSHED. THEN I FEEL THAT THE SAME ENERGY MANY PEOPLE PLACE IN TAKING PICS ON MYSPACE AND OTHER SOCIAL NETWORKING COMMUNITIES, THIS SAME ENERGY SHOULD BE USED TO PROTECT, CONNECT, AND GIVE TO OUR CHILDREN. WITH CLIMATE IN WHICH WE LIVE TODAY WE SHOULD NOT ONCE FEEL RELAXED WHEN IT COMES TO OUR CHILDREN. THE DAYS OF SILENCE IN THE WAKE OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION IS OVER. WE ARE SO ADVANCED YET SO BEHIND. THE FUTURE DEPENDS ON US AND WE ARE FAILING MISERABLE.

Just a little vent here about lyfe. Sometimes in lyfe we are presented with situations in which we either learn, or not. Today, again, I have learned that not everyone in my zone acts, feels, and thinks as I do. I placed a mumm in the mumm area that was removed, to my suprise. I violated the terms and services agreement. Nonetheless I was afforded the opportunity to see how ignorant some people still are. Some of the comments made were inappropiate, and downright ignorant. To that I have to say everyone gets a turn, what goes around comes around, and its all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Lyfe has a funny way of returning the favor....until next time.
