Chills run up my spine
A soul slowly turning cold
Maybe this is like a sign
Of what was about to unfold..
Blood stains soft wrists
Sobs echo deep inside
Curling fingers into fists
These tears, I must hide..
Leaving me alone to die
Watching me rip apart
Laughing at me as I cry
Slowly stabbing at my heart..
Salty tears keep increasing
Burning skin as they fall
Blood my body is releasing
Little drops of pain so small..
Emotions stuck in a throat
Escaping through wet eyes
No more do I think I can float
Silently pulled down by your lies..
Beneath the surface, I sink
Drowning in tears and blood
Tattooing my skin like ink
Pain, my floor it does flood.
