Thoughts and Feelings
So many things on my mind
Really don’t know how to unwind
Kids are screaming through my ears
I want to scream, but who would hear
Deep down my mind is hurt
By what was said
It was lower than dirt
All I want to do is lie abed
Things keep spinning round and round
Everything just seems too loud
As a mom, what should I do?
All I want is to hear Thank You!
Just how do we make them see?
That what we say is what’s to be
All it comes down to is more and more
What I can’t give them I feel sorry for
Still it comes back around
I want this I want that
They think it’s just allowed
What are we a welcome mat?
