Well alot of you have been keeping an eye on me and the shit I have to go through in order to be on the national kidney transplant list, so I thought I would share with you on the progress wheather it be painful or not, but first I wowuld like to share a letter I recieved from a friend on here and this is what keeps me going and keeps my head up because no matter what u go through in life there is always someone that is alot worse off then you, this letter was sent by rapclifton. Your Spirit Amazes. "Hey lady you mentioned yesterday that you were off to dialysis casually as a woman who was on her way to the mall...your spirit is truely admirable and amazing. The world is over-populated with "why me whiners" and you are diffently not among that group. Life is sometimes like playing poker...sometimes you get a shitty hand dealt to you and have to decide to fold or play...you are a player!!
I am so glad to have had the good fortune to meet you and read your blogs and will continue to do so for your spirit amazes...your friend..Rich With that said many thanks to rapclinton for letters like that keep my head up and makes me stay strong, muahs babe and thanks a million. Ok in order to get on the transplant list for a kidney there are so many things that have to be done, I have had to have a mammogram done, pap smear, stop smoking and have all my dental done because the infection goes straight to your heart and kidneys, without the dental done then the chance of rejection is so much greater and I am thankful the the National Kidney Foundation has found me a dentist to donate his time and services to me free of charge. Now thats so sweet, the pain is well worth the rewards I will recieve with a new kidney that I am willing to do whatever necassary to accomplish my goals and the dental is the last to be done, I have wiped the list out within 2wks of starting the long road of recovery. I have had 2 pulled about 3wks ago and today I had 3 pulled this is all been on the left side, with polysistic kidney disease and being born with one has not been healthy for my dental, but I have 4 more teeth to pull on the right side, and not to mention, My smile is going to look so much prettier and whiter and healthier. So I am so thankful for my new dentist and his staff. When I had complications from the last extraction, Dr. Rusty Coad, came into the office to meet me on a saturday and I felt so bad that I took him away from hunting, now that is a true down to earth dentist, and I thank the Lord everyday for him and for my friends I have made and found on here, not to mention Scooter Black for the care and love he gives me and helping me thru this time of my life, he makes it so much easier to deal with the illness and is into learning as much as he can about my terminal illness and he knows that dialysis is a treatment not a cure and there is no guanatee that I will still stay alive and takes each day with me that he has to the fullest and wants to make my life less stressful and he is there for me no matter how I feel or what mood I am in, he deals with it better than I do at times, so at this time I would love to say thank u to all of you for the care and understanding, I know I dont look sick but I love to use my poker face to mask the pain and the confusion,
God Bless You and your Loved Ones at this time of year. Keep your head up and listen to others and you will be rewarded in some way. Love all of you and thank u for listening to me on this matter. I know alot do not know much about Kidney disease and failure so therefore I am trying to shed light of the subject, until next time stay safe and count your blessings because there is always somebody out there worse than what u have going on, may not seem like it but trust me there is. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Tammie aka eviltaz247
